I think this is the best scratching post I’ve ever purchased at this or any other price point. It’s perfect. It’s tall, seems well-constructed, the post itself is solid (some posts seem like they’re about to snap in half), and the base is solid and quite heavy (your cat shouldn’t be able to pull this over). It doesn’t have any toys or extra stuff, but my cat has never been interested in those so that’s honestly a perk. Maybe the only downside is it really is quite a hefty post and takes up a fair bit of space. I’d love to buy another but I live in a 650 sq ft apartment and I think two of these would overwhelm my home lol. But otherwise, it’s great, and I wanted the heft. I’m tired of scratching posts that look like they’re made of two pieces of cardboard. This is the only scratching post I saw (at this price point at least) that included the height of its base; they know it’s a solid post and they can back that up with dimensions.And of course, photo to show it has my cat’s seal of approval as well. She was scratching it before I could even finish screwing it together (which was very easy but to be fair no easier than any other scratching post).I honestly don’t know why I’m raving about this to this extent, but I just got off the phone after convincing my mom to get one too so, now I guess I’m here to convince y’all.

This scratching post is so tall and so stable, surprisingly even for my very large Maine Coon. I was so worried about the height and stability but it turned out perfect. A scratching post purrrfect for every cat.

This is awesome. Really sturdy for our kitten, easy to put together, and priced well. You can see the staples used to hold the rope to the post but I don't think a claw could get under them, they're pretty tucked in there. Either way I'd watch your cat until you're confident that won't happen. We have a kitten using it and haven't had a problem, unsure of adult cat use.

Bought this to keep my cat from scratching the sofa...seems to be working. Great size and my one cat likes to perch on the top. Super easy to put together and all the parts were included in the box. Great value for the $$. I'd purchase again. Good quality

I have 5 adult cats. I bought this to replace the cardboard scratchers because they make a mess. This one is much cleaner and nice and tall. The sisal isn’t very thick so it won’t last forever but the reasonable price will make it replaceable (less than replacing the sisal). It will last longer than 3 cardboard scratchers. I’m happy with it, my husband is happy that it’s less mess, the cats appreciate the height.

Easy to assemble - just screw the parts together. Tall enough that my cats can stretch up. Sturdy enough to stay stable when they need a serious SCRATCH :) The "fabric" is secure and should last a few years. I'd recommend this post.

My cats love this scratching post. Very sturdy, with a strong base so they cannot turn it over. It's in two sections, which allows you to create the tall or short version. We realized the short version is best. This is the size they had previously and were more accustomed to. The fibers are very strong and secure. Highly recommend. The price is excellent compared to the pet stores.

The media could not be loaded.  My lil guy Milton barely let me finish setting up before he was all over it!l’ve had it for a few days and it seems quite sturdy so far, and is the perfect height for both my cats to fully stretch out.

Fast delivery…Our cat took to it right away and it fits nicely next to our cat’s favourite sleeping chair.
