Perfect for Me!
I'm trying to get up from my desk and walk around every thirty minutes, but I didn't want a loud alarm breaking my concentration abruptly. Okay, but difficult to work for timing turns for people in meetings
Last timer memory only works if you let it finish counting down to zero. Otherwise, you have to put the time in again after clearing the timer to start over. So the silent alarm ends up being useless after all. I have each person just clear it and then press start to have it start counting up instead of down.However, the numbers are big enough that even folks who usually need readers can see the displayed numbers easily without glasses. Wish it was possible to reset the timer to the last time each time it clears but it's still a good value for the price.I paid full price for this timer. Pretty good, but don't drop it. And press the buttons firmly!
I used it for work and not really for cooking, so this was always in a dry room-temperature environment. You have to really press the buttons firmly to get it to work. But I liked it when it worked! Which gets to my second point.Don't drop this thing. A spill from my desk and now the thing doesn't work at all :( Guess it's time to try one of those cube timers I eyed in the first place... or I'll by the 16 pack for a comparable price and share the gift of time management with my friends....

Perfect Functionality
These are great for all types of uses. I received two. I use one at work because I’m trying to slow down while eating. You don’t have to use the loud alarm function. You can just use the silent, blinking red light. You don’t have to disturb anyone with your phone alarm. P.S. to reset you have to hold both M & S buttons down at the same time.

Perfect for my desk
I must keep a timed monitor on phone calls, and this is easy to read and operate while on a call. Keeps me fluid on my job so I meet my timing metrics. Great office help.

Overall good
As an everyday timer it is good- however we were looking for the flashing aspect to be more prominent. We have an extremely hard of hearing person (almost deaf) and we wanted the flashing aspect to be more visible.

This is junk.
I need a timer for my son in the classroom. The description claims you can use this as a silent timer - I don't see that option. The REAL issue here though is that the on/off switch remains ON only... which defeats the purpose of it. Sorely dissapointed.

Does what it's supposed to
It's a timer, what can you say? I bought this to replace one that no longer worked. I wanted one with a standard battery (last one used a watch-type battery, which is annoying as I don't generally keep those on hand), and this one delivers on that aspect: It uses a single standard AAA battery, and it's easy to replace the battery (none of this ridiculous hunting for impossibly tiny screwdrivers to remove impossibly tiny screws before you can take the old battery out).Display is large, which works well for my over-40, what-do-you-mean-I-need-glasses-now-I've-never-needed-glasses-before eyesight.What I don't like is the fact that it's really loud. I put masking tape over the speaker holes at the back and that's helped a little. Also, it's unusually large for a timer.

I live for this timer! Super easy to use, timer is quite loud when it goes off, so you will have no trouble hearing it throughout your house. Also the back is magnetic, so you can stick it to your fridge or something that is magnetic. Battery has lasted a long time too. For the price, you can’t go wrong.

Will not Shut Off
After using almost 3 months it now will not shut down and drains the battery.You can find better timers for a lot less money
