I bought this to paint my dresser and these brushes made the paint go on sooo nicely with little to no brush marks!

I ordered this set because I do quite a bit of painting with chalk paint and finishing with wax. These thick, round brushes are really nice for a good coverage with the wax and are easy to work with. I actually prefer a roller for larger areas for the chalk paint but there are always places that require a brush so it is definitely nicer to have a couple on hand so that you don't have to rinse out your brush and then let it dry before you can start to wax. I much prefer the brush for waxing over any other option as I feel like I have more control of the amount of wax that I apply. This set has slightly longer, thicker bristles than my existing brushes (I have photographed the old one next to the new one for comparison) I have't used them yet as the weather has now turned too cold for painting but I will definitely put them use when the warmer weather returns. I can tell by the way feel that this will be a nice set to work with.

This brush is horrible in spreading wax. One bristles come off and are stuck on the surface. DO NOT recommend.

Nice quality. No bristles falling out. The paint washed out nice and went on smooth. The different sizes make it nice for details on your project.

These brushes seem just as well made as a set I paid way more for and I hope they hold up just as well as that set has. I have about 6 of this type of brush now and I find myself using them more than I thought I would. I originally thought I would only use them when applying wax but I use them for many different applications. I like to use them with my larger stencils, to paint with and they are simply amazing using them to paint spindle type legs. In fact this is the only type of brush I use now for furniture legs as it cuts the paint time in half really. I have found using Dawn Platinum Powerwash spray ( the blue one) cleans my brushes like nothing ever has. Works amazing to get the wax off them too.

The small brush has an absolutely straight cut, so it is hard to get a nice edge on stencils. Bigger brush is nice. Mine didn't lose bristles, and I did give them both a bit if a pull to check. These are fine.

The brushes arrived very quickly and are looking great so far! Sturdy and well made.
