Great Anchor
Received my sand shark and it is a great anchor. Live is SW FL and use it all the time when island hopping in the area.I have a 23’ bay boat with only 1 PowerPole and the sand shark works great holding the bow. Also bought the bungee rope which works great with the anchor. The bag it comes in is padded so it doesn’t crash around in a locker..Every time I set it up or someone walks by they ask where I got it. Fair price on both items and I won’t be without either.

Finally something that works on sand bars!
I kayak a lot and on sand bars or shallow water with fast currents, my grapnel style anchor never held my boat in place. It would always drift. I decided to give this anchor a shot and it is fantastic! Easy to auger into the sand, holds my kayak along with my friend's yak in place, and is really high quality. I recently capsized my kayak and lost the straight bar portion of the anchor and when I contacted Sand Shark, the offered to ship me one free of charge. I am very happy with this purchase.I was fully aware how long the anchor was when I purchased so I do not see any sense in deducting stars based on you may get a bit wet using the anchor if the tide comes in. It is wonderful for any shallow sandy areas or even the beach as the tide is coming in. This thing is great and is built to last forever.

Held 2200 lbs fiberglass through 60 mph wind storm
4th of July Pelican Lake StormThis 4th of July weekend we were up north in the Brainerd lakes area. I anchored my Ranger Reata 1850 (2200 lbs fiberglass fish/ski) in about 4 feet of water with the 3 foot sand shark. Drove in fairly easy, but I had one of the kids do it anyway. I also had the rope they sell with elasticity to it (this is key as well). My intentions were to anchor the boat this way as there was limited dock access, and we were occupying the beach looking at the boat so if something happened I could resolve it. Thursday the 4th of July we had a rapid storm develop over the lake. Winds were 60+ and we got a lot of rain. Storm happened so fast I didn’t have time to beach the boat, plus I had to coordinate the wrangling of various party items like a 30 foot wide blow up swan and a few shade tents. Swan flew off in the air and was secured by the man they call the swan wrangler. Two of the pop up shade covers were destroyed. I watched from the house as the mighty sand shark held this boat with constant supply of two foot waves, and 60 mph winds. Convinced 2 others to buy this for shallow water anchoring you can walk away from (should be their new marketing slogan). Thanks for keeping my boat safe on the 4th of July.

One tough anchor pole
SandShark has wonderful products that are well built. This anchor works great to hold my boat along the beached shores of Lake Michigan. My neighbor was so impressed he bought one the next day for his boat. Couldn’t be happier with the product.

Smart for the lazy, like me.
Holds my 17ft flats boat on the sandbar like a champ, the quality and carrying case is very nice. The downside is the cost. It’s very expensive for what it ultimately does, but for the lazy like myself, it works great. I wish the handle floated, and had its own compartment in the case.

OVERPRICED & UNDERPERFORM - GOTO TRACTOR SUPPLY
Used to anchor a PWC. Held PWC, but when removing from sand, eye sheared off. Found better at Tractor Supply for 1/4 price. Go there...

Not strong enough for 21' bowrider
We tried it with our 21' crownline at the sand bar in Lake Havasu. No dice. Seems like a great design but this just pulled right out of the sand/water. It may have worked better if it had larger blades (more and wider - for better and deeper grip). Maybe the sand was just too loose or the current too strong in our case??? Nice quality product and easy to use - and probably great for a much smaller boat with far less weight to hold. We had to return it (because it was useless for US). We ended up with the Extreme Max 3006.6817 Self-Hammering Beach Spike Anchor instead which has worked well. Substantially heavier than this Sand Shark, but... it's an anchor so, that makes sense, right? FYI: At the sandbar we use both the Beach Spike (off the stern) and the WindRider Boat Anchor (off the bow). But for regular anchoring off shore we just use the WindRider alone (off the bow) without issue. Happy Boating Y'all!Purchased both here on amazonhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C25HKP4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.com/WindRider-Boat-Anchor-Kit-Fortress/dp/B089WG7Z1D/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Held the ski really well. The handle set up could be a lot better. To loose to try and get the anchor started straight. A fixed attachment point would be so much easier.

Love It!
This work just as it should be careful though if using for a pontoon boat. Your best bet is to have 2 and always anchor the side where the wind is coming from

Will not hold a jetski with confidence 😟
It pulled out of the sand and my jet ski was on the beach and the anchor was stolen though the night not happy would not recommend....😕
