Simply love it! The knife is just the right weight. It's very sharp, and cuts even frozen meat. Although the manual didn't specify, I have washed it in the dishwasher and it seems fine!

Great knife, looks good, good weight and balance. Nice gift at a great price. I bought a few and all recipients loved them. In fact a friend thought it was so nice he sent one back to me so that I could have one also. Use for vegetables and small bones, poultry, not sure the weight or durability for using on large bones (beef)?

Recently needed a cleaver and purchased this. The cleaver itself is solid, well balanced and sharp. It made cutting through meat, bones and vegetables a breeze. Very happy with my purchase! Takes some getting used to when use to a chef knife but does a good job cutting fruits and vegetables. Can be used for meats as well. I like the vg10 core . Good looking as well. I would recommend this to try different approaches to prepare meals

I bought this knife 2 weeks ago. So far I can say that this knife has been doing really good. The knife is sharp, a perfect weight and is very easy to use. It is the perfect size and very good quality!

Great kitchen knife... Very well made ,very sharp and easy to keep sharp....The patterns on the knife are not as visible as depicted and you have to look closely to see the them so bare that in mind....
