I bought this for a side chair in our living room. It holds up well as a footrest but I don't think it would as occasional seating. My wee male dog decided to mark it and I was not able to spot clean it well enough. The material is a crochet/knit yarn exterior. Our next foot stool will be one that is easier to clean.

This was nice and I wanted to love it, because Iv wanted want one for a long time. However, it’s very stiff and I can tell it’s not gonna keep its shape for long. Imo it won’t look good for long.
