This worked ok for a while. For some reason it's become hard to turn the handle to lock or unlock it.my wife gave up n I'm scared one ov these times it's going to never open again.its becom a very large heavy paper weight

It's working
The media could not be loaded. I thought as a fireproof safe, it should have an extra layer of thermal protection.Setting new code following the instuctions is useless. I had to play around with it, for example: press longer, 3 instead 2 times, hold hinge button while setting etc. I did it for 20, 30 minutes and I don't know how I was able to put it on setting mode. Update: To set code press # 0 twice and hinge button twice (instead 1 second) and code # code #No issues with Setting biometrics - to set it you can pres fingerprint 4 times, so I did it with 2 different ones and it working for me and my wife. (Nothing about it in instruction)Inside light could be stronger.Nice packing, even door gaps. Im happy with it and with low price.

Would not buy this again
Electronic locking system is a bad joke. Either the instructions are incomplete or it just doesn't work. Spent an hour trying to program the code and didn't even get close to functioning. Didn't even get to programing the fingerprint. Guess I will just use the key. Can't waste anymore time with this junk.

Not compatible with scopes
Decent safe with caveats. The price point is low and it is so-so quality. My door doesn't line up perfectly but I can open and close without too much effort. The biggest issue is the depth - I cannot fit my rifle with a Sig Whiskey 3 scope unless I rotate it sideways and lose one rack position. This is a temporary solution for me and I can deal with it, but for those who are looking for a permanent solution for a scoped rifle, this is not it.

This product was a gun cabinet not a safe. We have fireproof gun safes and it is locker or cabinet material not safe material. We need something thicker and fire proof so returned ours.
