Nailberry L'Oxygene Oxygenated Nail Lacquer

‘EXTRAVAGANT’ is a rich plum creme from the Nailberry L’oxygéné collection of nail lacquer which is 12 free and its patented formula is oxygen and water-permeable, which it says, protects nails from drying and breaking and allows them to grow naturally and healthily.I loved the sleek shape of the bottle and I found it easier to hold than the usual round bottles. The formula was richly pigmented and gave good coverage on the first coat although it was a little streaky close up. A second built the colour intensity and gave a fully opaque and high shine finish.I found the slightly longer length of the wand and brush gave me better control and the shape of the brush, being ever so slightly rounded, made application easy and very precise.The consistency was a little thinner than I’m used to and I had to be careful not to try to apply it too thickly as this caused the polish to bubble upon drying, although all was not lost when this happened as I found applying a topcoat sorted this.Dry time was fairly quick - as long as the coats were thin - and wear time was fairly good too, I managed 4 days before chips were very noticeable although there was a small amount of tip wear on day 2.Overall I was very impressed with this polish. Considering it's a healthier, environmentally friendly formula I wasn’t expecting such a richly pigmented formula and strong vibrant colour or for it to be a super shiny and, on my nails that bend and chip easily, for it to last 4 days.I love the healthier ingredients list and that this product isn’t tested on animals - I’m very happy to recommend 🐰💕

‘MALIBLUE’ is a stunning inky blue creme from the L’Oxygéné collection by Nailberry.This 12 free nail lacquer has a patented oxygen and water-permeable formula which it says delivers a healthier manicure with no compromise on colour.The first coat gave a wash of colour although this was a little sheer and streaky. A second coat intensified the deep blue colour giving an opaque high shine finish. Dry time was very fast, 1-2 minutes for the first coat and around 5 minutes for the second. I found the formula to be a little thinner than I’m used to, but this didn’t affect the opacity, but I needed to be careful not to apply too thickly as this caused the polish to bubble upon drying.The brush was fabulous, it applied the polish perfectly and precisely thanks to its slightly rounded, flat wide shape.Due to my nails being very ridged, I did apply a topcoat and this added extra shine while smoothing out my ridges and the odd bubble where I had applied the polish too thickly.For me, wear time was excellent, I managed 3 full days before tip wear became noticeable but there were no obvious chips.Overall I loved this polish, from a distance and in low light it looks navy blue and very dark and sleek, but catch this in any light and you see the hidden electric blue beauty of this polish flash bright! It is utterly gorgeous and it’s cruelty free💙 🐰

I love this brand and own a few colours already. Doing two coats it lasts a few days (I have a hands on job, and wash hands often) and contain less nasty stuff than other brands which I like. Also it comes off really easy and don't have to rub fingers for hours to get it off completely. My only issue is that the photos online are not accurate and this is the second purchase that I basically messed up because the colour is quite different from what is advertised. ROUGE is basically a deep burgundy, nothing like the bright red you see on the pic online. I am sure there are photo techniques the company could use to take accurate photos of the products. Since they are quite expensive, this should not happen in my opinion.

On the fence about this nail lacquer. I am always searching for a better nail colour, one that’s even slightly less toxic as commercial supermarket ones and I’m generally happy. I waited for my nails to grow out nicely, had a proper professional manicure so my nails would be clean and tidy…a blank canvass of sorts. I handed this unopened bottle to my manicurist to paint my nails. Alas, the brush got gloopy rather quickly. First coat, I wasn’t impressed. Second coat evened out the colour. It is a very nice shade, subtle, and exactly what I was looking for. But, the lacquer didn’t last more that 1.5 days and I only did normal things with my hands. I always wear gloves for doing dishes and cleaning, so it didn’t wear off from that. I tried again a week later, same result. I will say it dried rather quickly, which is nice. I don’t think I’ll buy it again though for the price I expected better. Maybe it’s just me.

As mentioned in other comments the label did not have the TM next to the nailberry logo, the brush seemed different and the address underneath was different as well. Got scared and immediately returned.

I purchased this as a gift. The way the label has been stuck on looks so shoddy and cheap, I don’t think I’ll bother gifting it. How hard can it be to put a sticker on nicely!? I’m sure the nail polish is lovely though.

I was a bit disappointed when I received this as it looks grey in the bottle and I wanted blue, as in the description. I was going out and only had time for one coat and still it was grey. The next day I put on another coat and, as if by magic, it looked a lovely denim blue! The polish lasted for over a week without chipping or fading at the edges. Have since bought two other colours. Definitely worth paying the money for.

Beautiful colour, fantastic coverage, and it doesn't irritate my sensitive nails. But despite very careful and time consuming application, with base and top coat, I still can't get a whole day out of it without chipping. So for the price I just can't recommend it, as they're are much cheaper options for something you don't need to last long.
