I have been sleep training my toddler, she really likes to feel physical comfort when tired or upset. This little sized and light weigh, but weighted blanket is perfect. Small enough she won't get wrapped up in, but big enough to be covered. Not to heavy, and it is surprisingly cooling. She is a hot sleeper so this has been very helpful in helping her figure out ways to sooth herself and get comfortable rest without needing to be held or patted. P.s I know I probably set myself up for this, but at the time when she was littler I did what I had to do to get rest. Now that it's come back to bite me in the butt, this has been nice to help transition her. I wish there was a cover, since it is slightly weighted and I don't want to ruin my washer and dryer. It is machine washer safe, but I would suggest going to a laundry mat to do so. That's what I do with my own weighted blanket, which is heavier and larger. I chose gray, 1 because it went with her room and 2, will hide spills and messes easier. I can't remember if other color options were even available but it's a nice material that isn't super cottonie but not swishy. Soft and smooth to the touch. Quilted to the weighted material stays put and evenly distributed throughout the blanket. I am not disappointed. If it were easy to find a cover for it, that would be top notch. For keeping it clean, easy to clean, and to change up the color/style/pattern ect.

We love this blanket. It fits the top of our queen size bed so well and lovw the weight. Has helped with compression during the night on knees and other joints. Also love that we can take the outer layer off, if we need to wash it.

This was a great blanket as to the softness and quality but the 15 lbs was too heavy for me - originally purchased for husband but it was too warm for him. I would love this in a lighter weight for the winter.

This blanket leaks by design! The "fine glass beads" used as filling are actually sand, which can't be contained by the mesh fabric on the underside. It leaks from day 1, resulting in the blanket's self-destruction in a matter of weeks of use. (I thought the sand had accidentally fallen onto the blanket, but closer inspection eventually revealed the truth, both lightening the blanket and enlightening me.) I suppose they think they are clever for referring to sand as glass, perhaps silicate sand, but the description contains a misrepresentation. It states, in very fine print, in a photo that won't appear in a search for the words, that these "beads" are 1 mm in size, which is not so. The actual size ranges from 0.05 mm to 0.25 mm which means they are not "beads," but actually grains of sand. Actual beads would normally stay put.

After i got this for my fiancé, he doesn’t use his others anymore. Just the one weighted blanket is enough and it feels so nice
