FuseworksFW880 Simply Fused Project Book

An informal read

I'm giving this only three stars due to the fact it came bent all up from s&h. Haven't had the chance to use it to see if directions work. However the pictures are large. I feel it is a great first book on fusing glass and it gives ideas that I had not thought of. Author needs to make another book on how to use Fritz and decals in the microwave.

This book is layed out nicely. However, my biggest issue that I had is that while it may give you step-by-step instructions..right down to the size of the glass..there is not any step-by-step photos to go along with it. Which was what I was hoping for. The book is still helpful. But, not to the extent that I had hoped.

I was looking for more of a techniques, hints, tips type of book. I was able to glean some ideas and methods from the book but it really isn't what I was looking for.

I am new to fused glass and this book has given me several ideas for projects and how to use the microwave kiln. It is fun to work with glass.

Not much substance in this book--should have more photos of the actual glass before it's fired in the kiln. Nothing in it I couldn't figure out myself--"conversion chart" is a joke for firing times--it only lists for a 1200 watt microwave. Mine is 800 watts, so I thought there would have been a chart showing 1200 to 800, nope.Overall, very basic with no working pics. Not recommended.

Nice starter book

I'm fairly new to glass fusing and this gave me some ideas on how creative you can be with the microwave kiln

This is a very flimsy, soft covered BOOKLET - not worth the £18.95 that is charged.Very disappointed.Even the projects described inside are very basic in nature.Not what I was expecting.

Not worth the money. Very ugly projects.
