Sweet Rome (Sweet Home Series Book 2)

Loved it!
Tillie Cole has a knack for writing stories that are absolutely heart-breaking. Her stories are dark, light and every shade in between. So, if you don’t like when things take a twist for the worse, or when people’s backgrounds aren’t exactly sugar and spice, then she probably isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking for an author who isn’t afraid to tackle some darker – and in some cases truly disturbing – issues then you’re in for a real treat. The ‘Sweet Home’ series isn’t as dark as the ‘Hades Hangmen’ series but it’s still going to put you through the emotional wringer. ‘Sweet Home’ is told from Molly’s perspective. Book two, ‘Sweet Rome’ is the same journey told from Romeo’s perspective. They are both amazingly good reads. I actually preferred ‘Sweet Rome’ but I can’t tell you if that’s because I got more out of the story seeing it from Romeo’s point of view, or if I was familiar with the story and just loved reading it from the other side of things.Molly is new to Alabama and isn’t prepared for sororities, (American) football and dating. She’s had a somewhat tragic past and has pushed herself to academic excellence in order to make something of herself. Romeo, on the other hand, is all about football, females and fame. Well, maybe not that last one, as he actually dislikes the majority of the attention he gets. No-one knows who he really is or what he’s been through. His past is different from Molly’s but equally as tragic. When the two meet, there’s an obvious connection and they soon begin to gravitate towards one another. They can’t be more opposite to one another, and yet they understand one another like no-one they’ve ever met before. I loved watching their story unfold. It’s beautiful and tragic and will keep you reading from the first to last page. Enjoy!(Review is the same for ‘Sweet Home’ and ‘Sweet Rome’).

Holy emotions!! What a journey!
Ok so i loved Sweet Home and couldn't wait to jump into Sweet Rome straight away and damn im so glad i did!Reading for Rome's heart breaking emotional POV was just heart wrenching for me!Its made me fall in love with this perfect man all over again and more.Obviously the story line is the same but has added bits in when we get to read exactly what Rome was feeling... what was in his mind... just how Molly broke down his defences was absolutely amazing!!The added extras at the end showing just how their life went gave me goose bumps and made me so happy for these guys!!So so glad Tillie wrote this book as it made the story so much for me!!

I love this book
I adored being in Rome's head and reading the story from his POV. Their love story is amazing no matter which point of view it's coming from. I love the drama, the passion and the love between them and their friends. This is a story that will have you shouting, laughing, crying and giving your heart over and over. You will love every moment you spend in Sweet Rome.

Loved it!
I dived straight into Sweet Rome immediately after finishing Sweet Home and I’m not sure if that was a good thing or not to be honest… Don’t get me wrong, I loved it! How could I not love it? It was Rome, it was Molly, it was the alternate viewpoint on a story that had left me breathless with feels, so believe me, I loved it.But, starting it immediately after reading Sweet Home probably wasn’t the best of ideas as it felt a bit… Same-old in some places. Now, there are lots of scenes, and lots of info especially about secondary characters, in this book that are not included in Sweet Home so don’t think you are just getting a bad copy and paste job with “she felt” switched to “he felt” or whatever. You’re not. Rome has his own life and his own story to tell. It’s just that it didn’t diverge enough, or contain enough ‘unknown’ to surprise me, so the burning need to keep turning the pages, that ‘must read now!!!’ feeling wasn’t there. It didn’t stop me from inhaling page after page, but I didn’t feel that I couldn’t part with it to eat my dinner, for example. However, it was Molly. It was Rome! It was a wonderful read and the added bits at the end – especially the epilogue – were the business! This author is a master of the epilogue… Major feels! If you loved Sweet Home, you have to read Sweet Rome. Have to. Just… Wait a few days at least to let Sweet Home digest a bit.If you haven’t read Sweet Home, you should, but you don’t have to to read Sweet Rome as it can stand alone.A must read!

Oh my word.. spectacular... best book of year...
Well where to start. Tillie has done it again... Amazing! I really can't describe how incredible tho book is honestly. When I read sweet rome last year it was by far the best book of last year well in my top 3 but this with th extra scenes amazing.... I do t know what it is about the author compared to other great authors but follow grips you entices you in to become one with the characters it's not just the writing g style it's everything just everything that's a necessary to become a good writer is in the book and I really can't wait for the others to come out as I'm sure they will be just as good as these. Although rome and Molly will always be the on top in my eyes no-one can beat there story. This story is truly spectacular and although nothing will beat the book I really could see Molly and Rome's story goo.g to the big screen. I can't express my love enough thank you to tillie for the passion and intense story tale. It will always take pride on my top shelf. Normally I never buy paper backs when I've read them on my kindle and only special books are bought for my bookshelf but I have also paid for the paperback as well as kindle that's how good this book is highlight fail recommend go out a.d buy it today!!
