Beautiful Cookbook
I love this cookbook, Modern Asian Kitchen by Kat Lieu! Not only does it have pictures of all the recipes, but it also includes wonderful stories, tips, and recipe information. I want to try every recipe in this book.

An Introductory Cuisine Tour Through Multiple Asian Countries
Modern Asian Kitchen gives a great introduction to Asian cuisine - providing great recipes inspired from Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Pictures look fantastic on the glossy pages, with detailed instructions for each recipe.I especially appreciate the section on the Asian pantry. Supermarkets nowadays are stocked full with sauces and seasonings from all over the world that can be overwhelming. The pantry guide is a good little cheat to navigate the Asian condiment aisle.I can't wait to try my hand at making some of my restaurant favorites at home!

Easy to make recipes to feed your family a home cooked meal, Kat shares recipes that anyone can make her family’s favorites for your family dinner! Our family loves the noodle recipes!The delicious looking photos for each recipe make one drool!I love the narration and stories behind the recipes.

The best Asian cookbook
Kat Lieu has done something really amazing in her latest piece of work. All of the recipes are delicious, and the variety is incredible. There are of course, many classic favorites from a variety of cuisines: Japanese Miso Ramen, Korean Bibimap, Indian Tandoori chicken, Chinese Mapo Tofu, etc., but also a number of tantalizing neo-cuisine concepts: pumpkin spice miso udon, anyone?! Kat also weaves in stories from the many people who have helped inspire her culinary journey, adding a touch of authenticity and making the book read like a juicy novel instead of a stale regular cook book. 5 stars. Well done, Miss Kat!

So good I bought two
A tried-and-true collection of cantonese and lots of other asian recipes! The tandoori chicken came out so delicious. Nice photos and very clear instructions. I especially loved the little anecdotes at the beginning of each story.

The quintessential tribute to all things sweet/savory in Asian cuisine
This is my second book from Kat Lieu and this one didn't disappoint. The instructions are very easy to read and the tips are helpful, especially for those that can be swapped to make it vegetarian/vegan friendly. This book is a good intro for home cooks to cook Asian dishes.

Beautiful Book with amazing recipes
I am so impressed with the wide assortment of recipes and beautiful photos. Each recipe is accompanied by a great story and easy to follow instructions.

Super easy to follow!
I loved the Modern Asian Baking book so much that I had to get my hands when Modern Asian Kitchen released! Beautifully written and all the recipes are so easy to follow!
