This is actually a good product. At first I thought it would be too flimsy, but it is proven to not be the case. I took it on a trip to Europe and put it through some pretty heavy use, and it held up just fine. It collapses down to fit the overhead bin on airplanes and the internal elastic bands put it promptly together when you unfold it . The built-in light adequately lights your way, although I found the little alarm to be activated by accident far too easily. The alarm is irritatingly loud, yet not loud enough to really be effective. Good buy. I’d recommend it IF you are not needing a weight -bearing cane.

This is cheap junk, the light stopped working within weeks. The battery compartment kept opening and the batteries would fall out. This happened on two canes I bought.

Cane works great

I would rate this cane 5 stars. I have one major small problem. The connection between the battery and flashlight functionality is very temperamental to the point that if the cane falls over even once, you will be battling with the flashlight working and then not. You jave to shake the can or talk sweetly to big Alex or the flashlights will not work. I have returned as many as Amazon would allow with everyone having the same problem. I still have one and use it daily, but it's a total crap shoot whether the flashlights are going to work. If the manufacturer has any recommendations as to how to fix the shorts, then it's a 5 star review all day. I haven't found anything better, so I stick with my favorite cane even with it's blaring defective design.

Cane looks like a James Bond trick gadget, good conversation piece. Supports well standing up or walking. Good job!

This is our third purchase of this product. The battery compartment needs a stronger or tighter closure. Over a brief time, when the cane falls, the battery compartment opens and batteries end up on the floor/ground. Spouse unable to recover back piece of compartment or batteries. Not the quality people need. Individuals could be injured while attempting to recover loose pieces. Improvement needed! Can be a hazard!Spouse a fall/choke risk. Need alarm and light features for safety. Please take for action. The needs are everywhere, we need a better quality. Thank you.

This is a TERRIBLE PRODUCT! I purchased two of these, one for each vehicle and they both broke exactly the same way within a week or so of use. Great ideas but Poorly made. After a week the support that keeps the cane upright broke. As well as the light and alarm work occasionally.I wouldn't recommend this product.
