It’s a gel formula but cleans really well. Since it doesn’t foam much, I just rub it in and rinse with water, so my hair doesn’t get too wet and my skin doesn’t feel tight. I use this only in the morning when I don’t need deep cleansing, and it doesn’t cause any skin problems. Really like it!

I have combination skin that's sometimes hard to manage some areas get oily while others are dry. This Eucerin Gentle Hydrating Facial Cleanser has been a great find. It cleans my face thoroughly without making the dry parts feel tight or the oily parts feel greasy. It leaves my skin feeling balanced, soft, and refreshed. I tried Eucerin Face Gentle Hydrating Cleanser on a recent family trip because I forgot to pack my usual face wash—and my teenager happened to have this on hand. I normally use higher-end skincare products, so this isn't something I would have chosen for myself. But I was pleasantly surprised.It left my skin feeling very clean without drying it out. My pores clog easily, and we were vacationing in a dry climate—this cleanser held up beautifully. Now that I’m back home in a more humid environment, it’s still working really well.I usually only feel clean when I use a foaming cleanser, and while this one is just slightly foamy, it still does the job. It’s earned a spot in my regular skincare routine.

Based on how well other Eucerin products have worked for me, I really wanted to love this product line - purchased all four products - but after only about a week, my face broke out in red bumps. Yes, it caused my rosacea to flare. I kept using it for another 2 weeks hoping the flare was due to something else but it's unfortunately gotten worse. It may work much better for someone with normal skin.

My everyday cleanser, lathers great and your face actually feels clean after using it. I will most likely never use another face wash as this has kept my skin looking and feeling fresh.

I have tried all name brand and off brand cleansers, toners, moisturizer creams, etc. to try and eradicate severely dry facial skin, all with no results except more facial peeling and redness (yes, from rosacea). Until now. This face wash is way less drying than other products (let's just say that plain water is a killer on my face too), but if I get my moisturizers on before I leave the bathroom after washing up, my face feels pretty good. I will go back to my derm doctor and tell him the others aren't working (well, remind him again for the 14th time) and that I might have found something that is just short of battery acid for my skin. Well done!

I have dry skin and this is perfect for me,helps me to remove all make up and leaves the skin soft. The best!
