Paratus 3 Day Pack
I'm not an experienced hiker, nor am I an experienced survivalist, however, I am an enthusiast of both, and as such, i can say this pack is a great bag for the price. What we are looking at is essentially a survivalist bag. This bag will be roughed up, slammed, and dragged through the earth. I think that this bag would suit its purpose of getting you out of trouble (or into trouble, if that is your wish). The main bag itself is very spacious and comes with compression straps to bring the weight towards your center of gravity. The outside pouch is misleading from the pictures provided: the out most flap of material is connected to the pack. it isnt a strap. i know that i may have just looked at it wrong, but when i purchased the bag, i thought it may have been a flap that connected to the bag by straps at the top.the attachment bags for this are really nice and save you some money right up front. also, with the molle system, you can add more or even re-arrange your attachments to how you see fit.but the reason for 4 stars is this: while its great at what it does for the price, it isnt fantastic. the molle system on my bag is uneven and i had a hard time getting some straps through some of the webbing. furthermore, the padding on the shoulder straps is a tad thin, though this may be a good thing for you, depending on your prefferences.overall, this is meant for 3 days. i can see it being successful for that purpose and plan on using it as a bug out bag. i bought this for 50$ and see no problem paying that much for it.***side note***i thought that the bags straps were defective. this could be an issue with customers in the future. if your compression straps are not staying, flip the buckle.

Everything but the zippers
I got this pack for my ditch(bug out) bag. The size is perfect for this. The large, main compartment is exremely roomy. I even have a 2-person tent in it and still have room for all my other gear. I wish it had a few more small pockets on the inside for pens, flashlights, radios, etc. For the price though I'm very happy with the bag.Now for the zippers. I feel like I've got Santa's sleigh-bells on my back when I move. I can't believe how loud they are! I tried using electrical tape on a couple of them and it helped a little. They will likely be cut off and replaced with para-cord. Still a great bag for the price.

Not a primary Bug out Bag
The description is close to what I received. I bought this bag cause I didnt want to spend $150 plus like the 5.11 tactical one I have. So for $54.99 I got what I paid for. First off upon opening the package it stinks like gasoline. I assuming thats from cheap Chinese workmanship. It is made in China after all. I dont agree with the statement that it has a Heavy duty carry and drag handle. Simply not true. It does have a a carry handle but rugged, surely not! Secondly it seems that some of the upper compression straps are not finished! Meaning, when you get to the end of the strap they will pull right through, very annoying.. So I'm going to have to sew the ends so this doesnt happen. Hydration bladder compatible, yes if you mean there is a pocket to hold it. But there is no hole for the tube to come out of. To me the statement of hydration capable is null. I originally bought this as a second bug out bag for my wife. I would not use this for a primary bug out bag or risk my gear in it. As a secondary one yes.Not field tested yet. When I do I will post under this review.Overall I got what I paid for. Do not use as a primary bug out bag. If you your looking for a cheaper sub par secondary bag this is it! Primary bag spend the extra money! I use a 5.11 tactical 72 hour.5.11 Expensive.. yes.. high quality.. yes..I do have to admit the 3 detachable bags are nice. They are only attached by the Molle method using velcro(not snaps)seem to be pretty secure though. Ohh almost forgot.. Not enough pockets to keep things organized..

Good bug out bag
This is a very good pack and most effective for a rugged bugout bag. I did have a couple of little problems i.e. a snap on the lower pack had to be repaired and there is a Velcro strap that hides the carry handle, and when it was sewed the Velcro got sewed to the main pack body a pair of scissors cured that little problem- in fact these little problems were no big deal because this pack sells for a good price ( it should sell for at least $150.00)but it cost around $55.00 at Amazon so I did not argue with the manufacture about these 2- little problems.I give this pack a five star rating, and it will have the room you need for hauling your bugout gear with no problem: Just remember every ounce adds up so don't break your back by overloading it. It is made out of 900D material, and built to last, and the Molle system is expandable for more space if needed.Ken E.

So far ok
The zippers are to noisy. I will be putting duct tape or something I can find to quiet the zippers down. the straps are way too loose and come out way too easily not sure what I'm going to do to fix that. the bag has great amount of space with the pockets and a large space and a man backpack I did notice that the side pocket that ison the side is an accessory it uses a Molly velcro opposed to the snaps or speed clips. I bought this bag for a drag bag while on a special operations unit I can make it work but it needs a little help.

perfect, even for women!!
This is absolutely perfect. I'm a 5 foot 6, 110 pound female and carry extra gear & food for my 2 sons, even with that and my own gear weighing about 25 pounds, I barely feel any weight. This is perfect as my bug out bag. I've gone through a few bags now & this is by far the best fit for me and what I need. Having the detachable bags was a must, as I can carry the majority of my tier in the shoulder/fanny pouch. Fortunately I live where water is not an issue, so I really don't care that this one doesn't have dedicated hydration pouch. My sleeping bag , a czech army 3 piece sleeping system, (similar to the us military 3 piece) attached perfectly. I highly highly highly recommend this pack.

Nice solid pack
The pack seems very durable, have yet to field test it, but sitting in my room it seems tough. The bottom removal pack is very nice. My only complaint is the lack of compartments or sleeves within the bigger pockets and no hole for camelback. But I intend to sew my own.
