I travel all the time! And I take the best coffee with me, with a plastic pour over and paper filter method. Nothing compares. But many hotels don't offer a microwave, or they offer a microwave and there is nothing large enough to put boiling water. This little boiler boils the water in 15-30 seconds flat! In fact, don't plug it in and walk away. It's incredible! And in my carryon, it is light and doesn't take up much room. I hardly ever write reviews, even though I order daily from Amazon! But this is a true winner! And the price outdoes all the others listed too! Quality product!

This kettle works great! I use it to boil water for instant oatmeal daily. I am on the road, and use this with a 400 watt power inverter in my truck. It has worked great every time. I pour cold water in, secure the lid, open the vent and press the power button (blue light means on btw,). Within 4-5 minutes the water is boiling and the kettle shuts off. Even though the outside doest get hot, the water inside is, and stays hot when sealed up for about an hour. No problems, and no blown fuses in the inverter or truck. It's nice that the cord can be stored inside, and that it is the same size as a tumbler so that it fits in the cup holder perfectly.

I thought it would hold more water. It only makes enough hot water for one serving like instant ramen or a regular mug for tea. But it’s easy to use and portable. I just wished it beeped or something when it’s ready. I have to keep checking it.

I do a lot of traveling and I love being able to have a cup of coffee/tea to start my day before I have to interact with anyone. This means in Hotels I am at the mercy of their coffee makers which can be dirty and even moldy.I Finally have a quick easy way to make my own hot water, in my room, with an easy to carry device. I LOVE IT. This past week I snuck it onto a cruise and used it daily so that I could get my zen in before I had to go interact with others. Highly recommend this!

I used it twice and now it will not turn on anymore. Will have to find another option for tea at my job. What a waste of money.

While this doesn't heat up as quickly as my big electric kettle, it is plenty fast. Outside stays cool to touch, and you can use the lid as a cup in a pinch. Stores easily alongside mugs or glassware. BONUS: Temperature control is a nice feature and as accurate as my other kettle. Very happy.

There are mixed reviews on this product and I was hoping to be one of the consumers that would enjoy this product. The concept is excellent and it does heat the water real hot (so be careful). However, the cord is real short so and the canister sprouts water when boiling whether covered or uncovered (so for me that is clearly a safety issue). The canister only holds a little over 300 ml and so you get about 1.5 8 oz cups. It also leaks especially after boiling. Please careful when picking up the canister and when putting the lid on. I wouldn’t feel safe carrything liquid in the canister as it does spill. Like any other kettle this does take some time to heat up.

This is a great little travel mug. It works super well and is compact for travel. Add to that the superb customer service and you can’t go wrong ordering this. Definitely a 5-star product
