It's ok for my puposes. But if the fingerprint is a must for you, then keep your hands away from this product. Fingerprint opening is VERY unreliable. Actually so unreliable that it is not useable.

Introduction: I purchased this gun safe , actually I purchased 2 of them. I purchased them to add another level of security when transporting my pistols from my home to the gun range.. They arrived in a speedy timeframe and were packaged perfectly. Pros: Robust construction Batteries were included Easily transportable. Fingerprint recognition is quite accurate, have only had an issue when I have been excessively grubby. Once hands had a wipe, bingo opened like a dream. Cons: I had a lot of trouble finding any legitimate con so I had to be brutally picky I would like to say this in a rechargeable option that would save. May have to go out and buy batteries. I’ll be happy to pay extra for this option. All in all this mobile gun safe is still deserving of the 5 stars. Performance/Testing: Live testing has been done on over a 100 times. Carting it in and out of my vehicle. Transparency Note: I have not yet had to change the batteries although I have used this over 100 times over the past 12 months. I might just change the batteries to keep them fresh and stop the corrosion although there is no corrosion visible yet. Conclusion/Recomendations: Good vale for money gun safe. Anyone needing an affordable additional level of security to add to any of their firearms would find this gun safe as a great option and a peace of mind.

It's the first gun safe I've ever bought and I really like it. The build quality is great and no assembly required. It holds two 9mm well with extra mags. My only issue is the biometric almost never works. It might be my finger, but it takes at least 5 attempts. At this point, if I try twice and it doesn't work, I just use the code. I have to keep the keys hidden so the code is the most efficient way to open. The noise level is loud, so if there was an intruder it could draw attention, but if someone is trying to get into it that shouldn't, I'm made aware.
