It was purchased for a Pelican kayak, and advertised as if it would fit, but it was too small. Returned for a full refund.

My buddy has a Mustang 10 footer and I have an Emotion 10 footer. The boot itself seems to be good quality however its too small for both these kayaks. Pay attention to measurements prior to ordering. The seller happily refunded however (minus shipping return). Was optimistic because its nicely designed, just too small by a good 12 inches or so.

It's cheap, but decent quality for the price. Definitely permanently waterproof, unlike some "waterproof" fabric material. The kayaks in which I purchased these for have a 20"x40" opening for the cockpit, with the lip extending 1.5" further than that, all around. I've used the skirt once for a ten mile calm river expedition.1) it keeps you warmer on those 50 something days, as well as keep you dry below the ribcage.2) there are two elastic adjustments for the universal fit that are easily shortened, but not so easily lengthened. Once you get the tight fit you're looking for, you won't be adjusting it very much ever again. This means getting the skirt on can be fairly difficult. I actually like this fact because I want it to be more than difficult for the thing to pop off while in the water.3) I'm a beginner kayaker, but have gone under in fast river conditions and being pushed against a tree. The kayak takes on water and goes from 40 to 400 lbs in three seconds and you're screwed. This was purchased for peace of mind, but hasn't been tested. I really want to see if I can use this while rolling a kayak before I can give a full honest review.Hope this helps everyone. Remember to measure the cockpit before you purchase!!

Good skirt for sea, lake and light white water. I used it on my Necky Jive and every time I rolled the back popped open. I loosened it a bit and still popped off. But it’s a solid soft skirt.

Good quality light duty spray skirt. I've used this for kayaking on a lake in 2-4ft swells and it kept the water out very well. The dual bungee adjustment does allow this to fit a wide range of cockpits, but take special note of the dimensions in the listing because it is not infinitely adjustable. Once you have it positioned on the cockpit you may need to adjust the placement around your body. I could not ever get it to stay in a position where the water would shed completely off, so I always had a little puddle of water kind of "in my lap". There are not any attachment points for suspenders that I could find. I'm not sure I would trust this if you were going to be in very heavy swells or doing rolls, but it's good for light duty.

Got it for my Old Town Heron11XT and it fit just fine. Easy to put on and take off. Material is pretty thick and should hold up well. I'll update if problems happen.

Glad I got this! Just went on kayak camp trip down a creek and was glad I had this. No It's not equal to a neoprene one but for the money you can't beat it. Kepted me dry from the rapids coming over kayak. Only down side is water does puddle on skirt in you lap. shift of the knees and a tilt to the side takes care of most of it. If there where straps that would be better!

I'm sure this is a great skirt. I bought it because it said universal fit and was within my price range. However, I didn't think to measure so when I went to use it, it didn't fit. It wasn't long enough. Back now from my kayaking trip and checked to see if the measurements were listed on the page here. Sure enough, they are so it's my fault that I didn't look at that before purchasing. However, after looking I'm still puzzled as to why it didn't fit since my kayak opening is definitely smaller than 40 FEET long. :)

Just used this spray skirt for the first time in big seas, and was very impressed. I will now order another one to replace the factory skirt on my second kayak.

It fits my Point 65° North Mercury Kayak. It's adjustable, stays on, comes easily when you pull on the escape tab.

Product did not fit my pelican premium kayak. Too small. Quality was fine, just wanted to keep the spray off. Not able to go kayaking for awhile and now "the return window is closed" ????? What a rip off.
