Joy & Mario Women's Imperial

These shoes are so cute. I saw a girl wearing them in Ross and asked where she got them, because I had to have them. Everything about the shoes is perfect (I did order 1/2 larger-which was a good idea, by the way) However, the problem is with the fabric itself. The inside of the shoe is unfinished in places and because the fibers are metallic, they stick into your feet and you can't wear them. I tried to cut the fibers, flush with the inside leather facing but couldn't get close enough without cutting the shoe. Then I tried an emery board to see if I could file them flush...that didn't work. I wore them with socks last night at home and that helps, but who is going to wear sox with these shoes?!I will try something else, but the trick is to cut the excess fabric flush with the leather facing. That's the only way you'll be able to wear them comfortably. If I could wear the shoes, I would give 5 stars. Each pair will be different, the pair I received isn't finished properly inside.

I'm a standard size 6m but I ordered a 6 1/2 and they fit perfectly. They're comfortable. Since they're platform shoes so they tend to pull from your heels when you walk. It's probably a big issue once they're broken in. I do like them a lot.
