When I got this, the first thing I did was to put batteries in it, set it in the sink and turn on the water. As soon as the water came in contact with the sensors, the audible alarm sounded. Then I downloaded the app, and had issues with connectivity. The issue was that it was automatically trying to connect to the 5Ghz instead of the 2.4. After I realized that, it connected right away. I’ve since tested it again with water and the test button & I received push notifications on my phone. So far so good. I would recommend if you’re looking for an inexpensive alert for water leaks.

It connected to WiFi network initially but then dropped the connection and would not reconnect even when near the router.

I bought this after flooding my trailer by overflowing the gray water tank. I tested it by wetting my hand and holding it, and the alarm sounded, plus sent a message to my phone. Hopefully I'll never have to use them for a real overflow, but I have peace of mind knowing I'll be alerted if it happens again.

Bad interphase with the app

Inexpensive. Delivery really fast. This little small thing was a little bit of a surprise but it works really great. And I would highly recommend this especially when you’re away and you want to know what’s going on and you want to be alerted this is it this is a great product.

This product is very dishonest marketing. It requires a monthly SERVICE FEE to receive an SMS push notification when not at home! This alarm is WORTHLESS unless you are AT HOME when a leak happens. What a joke! This should be disclosed RIGHT AT THE TOP OF PRODUCT LISTING. VERY DISAPPOINTED...and angry.

This does NOT send notifications to your smart phone! The picture is deceiving. If you are not at home, you will not get notification of a water leak! They shouldn’t advertise it as Wi-Fi.
