AG45-0463 130lb Towed Broadcast Smart Spreader - Black/Orange

I bought the spreader and it arrived on time but was missing a support arm. I contacted the seller gave them all the information needed to get me a replacement. They then went to work in getting me one sent out (some days later it arrived). The support arm arrived and as you can see by the picture they sent out a black one instead of orange. Bearing in mind they have all the information of what I bought you’d think they’d get it right. I’ve had the spreader for a couple of weeks and I can’t wait for them to send out another to replace the black one. I need the spreader in action now so I’ve bit the bullet and cracked on. I’m happy with the product and happy with the customer service. I’m just miffed at their attention to detail. Very poor. 🤬😖😤

Good product but made cheap in places. You should not use mild galvanised steel bolts, washer, nuts in products tat are exposed to corrosive materials, e.g. fertilizer. The additional cost of stainless steel is negligible and I would be happy to pay the small extra cost. As it is I can see that I will have to replace many of the fixings eventually. You should supply washers for all fixings on both the hex bolt side & the lock nut side as without these the fixings will penetrate the protective paint on the frame & lead to rusting. I used my own stock of SS washers to achieve this. On the sweeper I purchased earlier, the nylon wing nuts failed & I had to replace them with metal. For such good products, you really should aim for quality.

I just ordered this and used it yesterday. Assembly took about 45 min and the directions were straight forward. Like others have said don't tighten everything until its all together as it makes alignment of parts easier. I loaded it with 100lbs of granular fertilizer at once and had no issues. I kept the spread rate a little light and covered everything twice in different directions for an even spread. Like all broadcast spreaders it favours one side the way the product hits the spreader wheel. In all I covered a out 2 1/2 acres and had no problems at all. I didn't have any of the negative issues that so many other reviews list. No wheel skidding, tipping, missing parts, difficult assembly, etc. I was extremely impressed with the performance and would highly recommend this product.

I've owned this lawn spreader for over a decade now, and it has served me well despite some signs of wear and tear like cracking tires. I appreciate the plastic parts, as they withstand the corrosiveness of lime and fertilizer much better than metal. Maintaining it by washing, drying, and coating metal parts with WD40 after each use has helped prolong its lifespan. The slimed tires have been a bonus since day one. I have a beautiful landscape with varying terrains, from grassy meadows to wooded areas. While the spreader handles most areas well, some aggressive spots require adjustments in material distribution for better traction and stability. Occasionally, items getting caught can hinder the spinner's function, especially on challenging terrain. The aging unit shows signs of paint flaking, and I've had to reapply slime this year, signaling a need for refurbishment.Despite minor issues like paint wear and occasional blockages, this spreader has been a cost-effective investment at just $15 per year. I plan to enhance it with an edge guard and explore seat activation for the next unit to improve functionality. Remember not to over-tighten the plastic components to prevent cracking.

Hallo zusammen, heute habe ich meine Wiesen eingesät bzw. nachgesät. hat wunderbar geklappt. Auch der Zusammenbau war kinderleicht. Beschreibung absolut ok.

Funciona a la perfección y esparce muy bien el producto. No es muy robusto, pero mientras no se le “sobrecargue” y se le dé el mantenimiento adecuado te servirá mucho para jardines muy grandes. Una cancha de futbol sin problemas. Buena compra.
