I am absolutely thrilled with this fabric! It is so beautiful with the green and black iridescence really shimmering. It can be used in so many ways but mine is a bit unusual. I am hosting a themed tea (Tea Under the Sea) for 14 ladies.This fabric secured just by thumb tacks will be secured well above the dining table wall-to-wall to give an illusion of being under water.Lying on top are poster board cut outs of a mermaid, turtle,ray, octopus, and several fish. I'm also using light up jellyfish and many other ocean themed decorations but the fabric will provide the biggest bang for my buck and really set the scene IMO.Locally I was unable to find the fabric I was looking for but Amazon had exactly the right item at a very fair price.

Even prettier than the pictures describe

This fabric is gorgeous and unlike anything I have seen before (I have been around lots of fabric). It has multidimensional color from its irridesence so that it appears more red (and less pink or gold) as you layer it. It was surprisingly easy to cut and sew. It does wrinkle, but will straighten out if hung up for a few minutes.

This is a plastic feeling iridescent fabric with great body and a gorgeous shimmer. I bought the white color and it is actually true white when stacked in layers though of course it has that pearlescent sheen of lavender and blue and pink when it catches the light. Unlike other iridescent fabric with a super open, zigzag weave that is super hard to work with, this behaves just like a typical polyester organza. It frays normally and bias cut edges stretch and don’t fray much. I used 15 yards to make a gorgeous Lolita style petticoat with a fishing line lettuce hem. My petticoat is gorgeous and has tons of body that is pretty resistant to flattening. I now want to buy bolts of this stuff in every color! So gorgeous! And what a great value!

Just as described

I suppose I expected cheaper quality for this price. I wasn't disappointed in that fact. The fabric has "stress" marks from being overstretched during weaving(???); I sprayed a fabric stabilizer on it and my fingers had blue smudges from handling it as I ironed it (with a fiberglass pressing sheet to protect the fibers). The wrinkles from the folds to ship the fabric do not steam out (professional steam machine) or iron out using fiberglass pressing sheet. The fabric color is beautiful, but the fact remains: it is just cheap quality fabric! (it feels like plastic fibers and probably is) HOW I miss having an apparel fabric store nearby - it makes buying fabric difficult since you can't handle the fabric in person before buying.

Very pretty fabric and lots of it. There were some brown spots on it in some areas but they weren’t too visible. It also smelled horrendous directly out of the package lol. I used the fabric to make some fairy wings for my Prilla costume.

Love this material. We used it to dilute the light coming out the top of our lamps. Mind you we had to do 4 layers but it gave a great effect to the lamps and room.
