Dimensional Analysis for Meds 3rd Edition

I bought this for my Drug Calculations class that starts on June 1st. I decided I would take a look at it early beacuse I am not super strong in math and since I am going to Nursing school in September it's very importnant! I started to read it and started doing the exercises, it's very easy to read & understand. The CD that accompany's it is great, I only wish you can restart each individual problem instead of having to start the chapter exercise over again. I am now on Chapter 7 in about two weeks and haven't even started class! Excellent book!

OK granted that I am "old school" and had to teach myself math (in chemistry). Seriously, this is the only way to do and learn med-calc in nursing school. Forget the ordered or have stuff or cross multiplication, learn stoichiometric math in one step this book helped me pass my med calculation tests, I only wish I had found it earlier...

I love the CD-ROM that came with this book. It makes the whole dimensional analysis process easy to learn and understand. After the first few lessons, I understand how to calculate a dose and an IV infusion rate and I haven't even read much of the text. Maybe it's just how I learn, but I find the CD-ROM alone to be worth the price of the book. If you have insecurities about math, this is the way to go.

I ordered this book used and it looks brand new.The beginning of the book has a review in decimals and fractions,which is great if you haven't been to high school in years.There are excellent pictures and diagrams on every page, it's a great book for the visual learner.

My wife said this was a life saver during her first semester in nursing school. It was recommended by the professor and will be useful for all dosage calculation tests throughout her schooling.

My teacher was amazing...but if you do not have any guidance, this step-by-step book will guide you wisely. It has simple steps & shows the steps, more than you'll need, to understand the conversion process. Makes it easy.

For any RN student struggling with med math...THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!!! Great illustrations and step by step problems!! A MUST have for those who want to pass med math!!!

This what a great price for book was in good condition just have a used it yet!
