I was impressed that this also came with a brush, pill planner, and pill cutter. This works really well and grinds pills down to dust. It is sturdy, great quality, a perfect weight, and easy to use.

Bought this to crush up my dogs joint supplements as she doesn't like the chewy treats one so i have to buy the tablets and they are huge. This works perfectly for that and it's nice and small (but super durable) so I can store on my counter. Exactly what I was looking for it. Use it everyday.

I originally ordered this for our older dog as he hates taking his meds. I can crush the pills and sprinkle it on his food without problems. I should add that we had tried just about everything else so this was a last resort for us. Even Pill Pickets would not work with him. I feel like it would work well for crushing dried herbs as well.

The pestle set is tiny, but since only crush one large pill twice a day, it works great for me.It's a cute, heavy little thing but does the job.

I bought this for its intended purpose of crushing pills. Unfortunately, far too much of the powdered pill sticks to the inside (and pestle too). Can't even scrape it out easily. Wish I could find a stainless steel set this small, but in the meantime I'll have to return this and stay with the ceramic M&P I've been using (some sticking in it too, but easy to scrape out).Other than that, it's a very nice looking piece and just the right size. If you're only trying to crunch up your pills rather than powder them, I suppose it would be fine. Would also be good for some spices, except it would need to be dedicated to just one type to avoid mixing flavors with the leftover residue.Sorry folks. It's nicely made, just not right for the job.

While the set was physically smaller than I expected, it is PERFECT for crushing pills. This easily grinds the pills and is very easy to clean (brush was included). It is the rough surface in the mortar that make it work so well.If you need to grind up pills, this is the tool to buy. I absolutely recommend it.

Although it does the job of crushing the pills, the actual bowl is so small most of the pill "jumped out" while trying to crush it. I guess that is why they also sent the pill splitter but really it takes so long to split then crush, just get the larger size and you will be fine

The size of this Mortar that works really well. I recently used this to grind up some Vitamin C tablets that I preferred to mix with my vitamin water and this tool worked great. I purchased a larger Mortar to handle the size of the vitamin tablets I had at the time. The Mortar was easy to clean once I was done and packed right back into the box to keep it nice if I have to use it again. Great tool.
