UPDATE: on 31 Jan 2018, the seller refunded my purchase based on my review with the explicit request that i change or remove my review. i did not ask for a refund. in fact, the seller dug me up on Instagram and, on 28 Jan 2018, began spamming the comments section of photos i posted and IM'ing me. he claimed that i never bought this item from him and my negative post was based on a lie. i provided him with screenshots of my order receipt (with order number), this review (highlighting the "verified purchase" tag) and the seller feedback page (which is only available to buyers to review sellers they've bought from). 1. i do not take kindly to being accused of lying or otherwise questioning my integrity. 2. chasing me throughout social media instead of contacting me directly, for instance, via the "comments" button below my review, crosses a red line, regardless of your intentions. 3. i will not change my review unless the item itself has changed to improve the owner experience as it's not fair to potential buyers who rely on reviews to guide their purchasing decision.**Therefore, just because the seller refunded the purchase price, despite his request i feel no obligation to alter or remove this review because the product experience hasn't changed. If the design were changed to improve durability or items replaced with ones that don't have the same problem, I would revise the review to reflect the replacement items.quick: these are not as durable as the ones i've bought before.i bought these as i ran out of pulls from my last purchase. they're identical in look but i wanted all red rather than the rainbow selection of colors that came with my previous purchase. mind you, these aren't the same brand or supplier as my last purchase. this is just one of the very few that offers a pack of a single color, specifically red.using these on my waterproof camera bags with sealed zippers, these pulls were unable to overcome the increased resistance required. during the first use, the plastic tab came off the string before the zipper budged.for unsealed zippers, i'm sure these will work just fine. just don't pull too hard or hang things from them. it's also probably an issue with quality control, so for every one that disintegrates, the next will probably hold your body weight.
