Fantastic set of compact camping cutlery
After much searching I finally found a set of cutlery that was both small enough to fit in my camping stove set, and light enough to take on any trip. Whilst the Spork is now the 'go to' cutlery gadget for many backpackers, I simply found that it was too uncomfortable for anything more than a quick bite to eat on the go, and primarily as a spoon. I wanted a lightweight cutlery solution which included a traditional knife, fork and spoon, but that didn't take up much more space than a spork. Most of the camping cutlery I looked at was either metal, or was too long to fit in my cook set. This Sea to Summit Delta set has proved perfect for my needs. The set is short enough to fit neatly into my cook set, but is still comfortable to hold in the hand. It's both lightweight and strong, the reinforced nylon ensuring that whilst each piece still has a natural bit of flex, they don't bend like plastic and should be much more durable. The spoon has a really nice wide head, meaning it's useful both to eat with and for serving or measuring out ingredients. The fork has slightly sharpened prongs and seems perfectly capable of stabbing the majority of hard foods I've tried it with. The knife has a fantastically sharp serrated edge, which is capable of cutting most cooked meat. The set also comes with a handy carabina, if you wanted to keep all three together in your pack. All in all, I can't fault this set, and given the functionality and the quality it represents excellent value. For the same price as a Spork I can't see why anyone other than the most extreme ultra-light backpackers would ever chose a Spork over a set like this.

Don't kick a ruck sack thinking it's empty!
Had* to buy these (*not really) as a replacement for my step-sons that he brought back from Australia. I kicked his ruck sack (thinking it was empty) in anger (another story) so after a few days had a look on good ol Amazon and there they were! He's happy!
