Takes a little tinkering to get the desired thickness, but, once you have it set up, it consistently splits the leather to the thickness set. Larger pieces may be a bit hard to pull through, so, make sure you set it up securely to a solid mount.

In general is not well made, the legs that connect to the base ar crooked, the holes that connect the legs to the cutting base are in different distances and don’t a line with rolling element making the work uneven one side is thicker that the other by 1mm and it did not came with the regulator for the thickness . Not recommended for professional or hobby work

I bought for my husband he has not got to use yet.

A lot cheaper than the one at tandy. Uses a snap knife blade, so no special knives to buy.
