WE LOVE THESE WATER COLORING BOOKS!Kids can get an early start on learning how to hold brushes in their hand which develops their fine motor skills. You can avoid the mess of markers, crayons, and paint with these books! Once the paper dries, you can color the pages all over again! It is a gift that keeps on giving and is perfect for those parents who are worried about markers ending up on the wall!

A great first step toward learning how to paint!
The set comes with 8 pictures to paint. The paintbrush is very small and wasn’t easy to use (it didn’t hold enough water to activate the paint), so I found another paintbrush that was thicker and worked better. The pictures are very simple, which is good for younger kids but older ones may want more detail. The paper is nice quality and holds the paint (keeping in mind that watercolor paint is naturally lighter and more watery than acrylic or other paint.) Our 3-year olds needed a bit of coaching to understand how to get the paint onto the brush but they eventually caught on. We got some paint on the table but it was very easy to wipe clean afterwards. The kids did not get any paint on their clothes (which is good!) so I do not know if it stains or easily washes out (I suspect it will wash out.) Even the adults tried it out and had fun. A great art project for all ages!

Paint without the mess!
These are great when your kids want to paint but you don't have the time to get out all the paint supplies. Just a cup of water and a brush and off you go. Cleanup is just as easy, and you can throw the paint paper away with the brushes being the only thing needed to wash

Cute idea, but bad execution
I loved the idea of this, but the colors are the same with every page and they really don’t work with the scene you’re supposed to paint. Along with that, there is barely any paint! My daughter completely ran out with a few minutes. We had to use our own paint.
