The media could not be loaded. Took a minute to practice the mode button and discover all the light tones. Need to say I bought a smaller light for my 40g tank because my angels do not seem to like the super bright lights. I get a nice ambiance with this light. The last choice on the mode button will rotate colors every few minutes. This is very soothing. It is a nice price, well made, easy to set up and convenient having the remote attached to the wiring. Packaged well and arrived quickly. Would buy again.

I got this light for my 5 gallon betta tank, and it works great. The width of the light is larger than I expected but I don’t see it as a con, and the amount of settings and customization it has is great for the cost. If there are things about it that I can I’m not agreeable with is that the 8 am time on the 24/7 cycle is strangely yellow and at the normal setting, I think the dimmest light could be more dim. I also can’t say anything about how it works with aquatic plants, as the plants I have in this tank are mostly slow-growing anubias species.The first picture is the lowest brightness setting and the second picture is at it’s highest. I wouldn’t say that the pictures are a 1:1 of how bright or dim they are in real life, and I believe the brightest setting is definitely more bright in person.My favorite thing about it is the transition between light settings and turning it on/off. It’s not an instant change and the light fades in and out as to not startle the fish.I mainly use the custom timer option over the 24/7 cycle due to personal preference.

Work great I like the fact you can change the color. And the timer is a great idea.

Love how bright it is, but hate how bright it is when first turning on and shutting down using the 24hr cycle. My photo is taken 6AM, 24hr cycle is supposed to start off dim, more natural but this one isn't as natural it just powers on at this brightness level.

This light is a great bang for the buck!Purchased it to help grow out red root floaters, dwarf hair grass and dwarf baby tears. All of these plants love high light and this provides.The 24-hour timer is super cool and creates a great effect, I really like that it automatically turns itself off every night and turns on a gentle yellow in the morning, acts as a clock in a way too!BE WARNED: The 24-hour auto timer can supercharge algae growth, so you better have a lot of fast growing plants to counteract this or keep it further away from your tank. So don't use it on a newly set up tank, but standard non-aquarium plants would likely love the feature!Ultimately I plugged the light into a wifi outlet switch and that helped a lot.Overall the light is great bang for the buck and I would happily buy another!

I love the light in every way. Good value for the money. But, I had to give it away because it promotes extreme algae growth in the fish tank. It is an exceptional growth stimulator. Great light, all features work perfectly.

Upgraded from old florescent light. This is the best light ever! Makes the tank sparkle. The fish are benefiting from the 24hr cycle option, sunrise to sunset. I never even have to turn it off and on. True colors make for beautiful water.

I thought my aquarium look nice without the light but once I put the light on wow does it ever make a difference ! The 24 hour nature setting is great it mimics the light of nature I love it you see it and forget it !

Pros: Great light that offers so many color options, especially yellow in manual mode. Many other brands such as Hygger don't offer the yellow color but orange instead. The brightness is decent and the 24hr/timer mode work beautifully!Cons: The material is plastic like most other brands out there, and may seem of a lower quality. The power adapter is a little bigger and bulky in comparison to other brands that I've tested. The memory function does not remember 24hr mode nor timer mode. It only remembers the last color and brightness that was set in manual mode. So, let's say there is a power outage and the LED was either set to 24hr or timer mode. When the power comes back on, it will just turn on the light at the previous color and brightness it was set in manual. It won't know when to turn off. So, if you want to use 24hr/timer mode on vacation, it is a bit risky. The workaround is to set the LED in manual using a smart plug with its own schedule when you're on vacation.Other than cons that are not really an issue to some people, this light is amazing!! I'd definitely recommend.
