The bike was 80% percent put together out of the box so it was easy to finish up. I love this thing. I bought this to get around while my car is in the shop. It goes fast and feels absolutely free. I recommend this to all first time e bikers.

The Hitway electric bike has been a blast to ride. It feels comfortable to use and easy to recharge. My main issue is regarding how annoying it was to assemble the bike. Some directions were vague and diagrams not exact. It took longer than it should have to assemble the electric bike. However, once it was put together, it felt fun and fast to ride.

I'm new to e-bikes and I wanted a bike that I could lift and that wouldn't make me intimidated by the weight when I got back on it years later. This bike is perfect for me in that regard. It's a quality bike at an affordable price, and I was able to get on it easily. I was hesitant to buy an e-bike, but I can honestly say that this bike is fun, lets me do things I miss and enjoy doing, and lets me relax. I'm happy with the weight of the bike, which makes it feel comfortable for a novice like me, and it's allowed me to get on a bike again after many years. I felt like I was in my childhood again. Great bike. I love it!

3 weeks later bike does not work properly. charged for 8 hours and while riding the bike goes in and out till today it finally went out won't hold a charge it's just a basic bike at this point. Get a better brand with better customer service.

The media could not be loaded. I just started using this electric bike immediately for my daily commute. The foldable design makes it easy to store in my apartment and take on the subway. The 36V 12Ah removable battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. The 500W brushless motor provides enough power to easily tackle hills and headwinds. I really like the fact it comes with a bike lock that mounts on the bike itself. Also, the brake light and head light are very bright for night use.*Update!*After a couple weeks of owning this thing and only 3 miles of driving it, I found that this bike is completely unreliable. It no longer moves without the assistance of pedaling. If I wanted a pedaling bike, I would've bought a nice name brand bike for the high price that I paid for this. I actually took it to a bike shop and they couldn't find what the problem was! $50 service charge later and I'm left with a useless bike. Thank goodness for Amazon's customer service in a quick and easy return.
