Attractive, excellent
Makes turning the PC on and off very easy. Hidden under a desk, it adds an element of security. Fitted to 2 desktops in our home, highly effective and great quality materials.

Simple and it works
I wanted to put my PC into my cupboard under the stairs and run cables through to my monitor but I was going to have the problem of not having a power button in the same room as my desk and no USB sockets for the odd occasion where I need to use a USB stick or something. This took barely 10min to install and now I can get my PC into another room, dont need to worry about taking up space on my desk with my desktop tower and can still go for a full size tower, win win win.

Good Product
This is a great value item and worked straight away. However I think a little bit of paper showing where the power leads go couldn't hurt. My mother board had a tiny little diagram that I could not read. So I had to use trial and error. What helped most, was before purchase, someone answering my questions. I would have bought a competitor's product if I had not had that confirmation. ta.

PC power switch/ USB hub (ish)
Bought this as I was building a new PC and wanted to make sure it was all working before I started packing all the components into the new case. There is nothing worse than packing everything in the new case to find that it doesn’t work which means that you have to take it all apart again. Testing the build before putting it into the case is far easier I assure you.It works fine and does what it is supposed to do I.E power on the PC and it did so in its pre-built state which is handy. Although there are no issues with using a screwdriver to short the pins and start the PC I have never liked doing this (it’s the lazy way). The device was disappointing in that on closer inspection it looks cheap and it feels cheap being made from cheap plastic as it is. It is not something that I would want atop of my new build as it is not really aesthetically pleasing to the eye, to say the least. Most new builds these days ( not all as some people hate RGB )have RGB and fancy glass panels and the last thing you want is this adorning it.Don’t get me wrong it’s a handy little device and is ideal to replace the broken power switch on an old PC that is not worth upgrading but still works fine otherwise, or even for a PC that you want to hide away in a cupboard (with plenty of ventilation of course). In these cases, it's handy as a remote trigger.CONCLUSIONIt's handy as I have said but it’s a bit overpriced for what it is, hence the three stars. It’s very easy to install (copy your current pins exactly or use the PDF documentation from your motherboard’s website) and comes with all you need.I reckon it would be better priced at around £6.00 as there are others out there a lot cheaper that does the same thing. If it was made of aluminium instead of cheap plastic and had USB 3 ports instead of USB 2 ones (with a proper internal connection and not just external USB ones) then that would be a different story and would be worth it even if they charged twice the current price. At the end of the day, YOU are the buyer, it is up to you to decide (at lease Amazon has an amazing returns policy) what you need it for and if it is worth the expense. Look around first and just buy what you need.

practical
practical even if the position of the USB slot are not the best would prefer to have one on each sidethe finished product does not look as good as on the photo the cables are very big and stiff yo definitely can't do what you like with thempros very long cable your pc can be few meters away

Able to power pc on without reverting to the screwdriver
Probably looks better quality than it is, however it does what I needed it to do, and that is power up a pc.Haven't had a need to use the USB function so unable to comment about that
