Scotch Spray Mount Repositionable Adhesive, 10.25 oz – Removable/Restickable Spray Glue for Layouts, Mock-Ups, Photos & Crafts (Acid-Free, Clear Drying)

I installed a very large wall mural on my bedroom wall. It came in five strips and you're not supposed to install it on a textured wall like I have. So I purchased this adhesive....sprayed it on the wall, and it has held the mural for over a month now. I mis-installed the last section a bit, and a week later went to straighten it out and I was able to pull the fabric off the wall and reposition it. So this adhesive is perfect for my application.

The media could not be loaded. In the attached video, I've hung 12"x12"x2" acoustic foam panels in my office studio. Around 180 of them. Scotch 6065 Repositionable Spray Adhesive is the ONLY repositionable spray adhesive... which still works when you follow the directions.Loctite and Elmers also make a repositionable spray adhesive, but it struggles to hold anything heavier than photo paper or construction paper. I DID find a way to make Loctite and Elmers work... by spraying the foam and IMMEDIATELY mounting the panel to the wall (directions tell you to wait between 3 - 5 minutes). However, this reduces the repositionable feature, and also leaves a slight 'tack' on the mounting surface.So what I've discovered is that Scotch 6065 is the only one in which you spray, wait the recommended amount of time (just one minute!) and then proceed to mounting. This makes Scotch 6065 the 'strongest' adhesive, while still remaining repositionable.I've had to move the panels numerous times, and have never had damage to the panels or the mounting surface (a interior latex painted wall). I have also not had the problem of the foam disintegrating against the adhesive, nor the problem of the mounting surface remaining 'tacky' after the panel removal.One thing I must state is that after you remove something for repositioning, you WILL most likely need to re-spray the object with a light spray. This doesnt make it not-repositionable, it just meant that to reposition you will need to re-apply LIGHTLY (otherwis you may run in to the problems I mentioned earlier).You may be able to get away with using the Loctite or Elmers equivalent for EXTREMLY light mounting projects. However, Scotch 6065 has been the easiest repositionable adhesive to use, and I intend to keep using it.JHA

This is the absolute best glue for dry mounting photos, it's easy to control, creates a repositionable bond that holds things for years, and doesn't degrade the art.So, why 3 stars? This is the second can I've purchased that broke the valve off just inside the can after about 20 uses. This results in glue going everywhere until I can quickly press my finger to the fountain of stickiness, then rush to the garbage can and place it carefully inside with the nozzle opening facing down to allow the rest of the expensive glue to uselessly exhaust itself. Fortunately I haven't ruined any art, but this is seriously frustrating!Adding insult to injury, there's no way to return this to Amazon due to shipping regulations and no one in my small town has it on the shelf so I guess I keep buying it here and hoping for the best.

Was looking for something I could use to stick soundproofing to my apartment walls. This is gentle enough and durable for painted walls. Awesome!

Works very well. Used it to mount sound panels to the wall and have had no issues.
