UPDATE: After the light water wash dried, it looked great! No bleed through. Excellent paper! I had heard about the Midori notebook, but had never tried one. I have to say after my first drawing in it, I am really impressed. I did a light pencil sketch and then I added a fountain pen. I wanted to test it for bleed through and paper thickness so I added a very light wash on the fountain pen. I have to say I'm extremely impressed! There was no bleed through and as the pictures show, even with a light water wash, the paper stayed true. There was slight buckling, but it still worked for my test purposes. I will not be doing front and back sketches, so this works great for what I need. I would not recommend adding a water wash but it works really well with a fountain pen. That is exactly what I was looking for! Highly recommend.

I bought this to log dives because I was tired of regular log books with weird print and questions that I don't care about answering. Additionally, I thought the paper dive log should function more as a scrapbook where I could log the information I care about like the Scuba divemasters that I used and things I saw on dives in different countries. The paper in this book is awesome, it's just the right size and no lines or print really anywhere. I can make it what I wanted it to be.

Impressive paper and the price is very reasonable. No feathering or bleed-through and very minimal show-through. Tested with M, B and BB nibs.

I cannot express how much I love this notebook— I even got a cover to protect it!! The paper quality is top notch and writes beautifully. It not only looks cute but is very functional because of how small it is and it’s able you lay flat. It’s already my third one but will buy it again and again and again unless they decide to discontinue it (hopefully they don’t)

This is a very handy little notebook that can be easily brought around with you anywhere. The bleed through with any average ballpoint pen is minimal. What I genuinely love about this little notebook is that it is extremely customizable and perfect for any creative that needs a good minimalist notebook.

The A6 notebook arrived in prestine condition. This size is perfect for jotting down notes on the go. The bag it arrived in was pretty flimsy, but there were no dents on the edges. This notebook is fountain pen friendly. Very minimalistic.

I purchased the Midori A6 MD notebook with plain paper. The paper quality is stellar! The paper is truly perfect fountain pens! The ink did not bleed through the page, it did not feather, and didn't smear! I am impressed! The paper is also very smooth, like butter. I also love the cream colour of the paper.
