The Lord Is My Shepherd: A Pslam for the Grieving

The book is comforting for someone in grief. A friend called it the best of the several books she received after a recent death in her family. Besides, the chapter titles which are paired with the verses of the 23rd Pssalm are a profound meditation: GOD CARES, GOD PROVIDES, GOD HEALS, GOD COMFORTS, etc.

I was given this small book by a friend after my husband died. It was the only book that I was even able to read in those first days and weeks when you cannot sleep or even focus. I had always known the 23rd Psalm, but not it's power to heal and comfort. I am forever thankful to Victor Parachin for his insight and simplicity. I would recommend this book to everyone who is experiencing a terrible loss and wants to know that God is always very actively with us all.
