Great product to allow me to start swimming again after my prostrate operation

My son is 15 years old and has special needs. He has refused to go swimming with his school for years, and they stopped trying to make him, but with a new teacher came a force to be reckoned with and she said he WILL be swimming. Suddenly we needed a whole new kit, as he'd had a growth spurt as boys of his age are wont to do, and his old splashabouts were far too small. We bought the small adult size, and the fit is nearly perfect, though it could be a little tighter round the waist. My boy is about 5ft7, with a less than 28" waist, so very skinny, so this was to be expected. I imagine this would fit perfectly on a 'normal' slim person with a waist 28 - 30 inches. He was quite happy to wear these under his shorts, these particular pair haven't been tested for 'keeping it contained' sort of thing, however his old pair were fit for that purpose so I think these will be fine as they are exactly the same just a bit bigger. I hope this helps. They are not very flattering on their own, but they are designed to be worn under normal swimwear, so this is not an issue.

I appreciate they have to be water tight but I could not even pull them up.

Very useful for my disable girl. At least make me confident to take my daughter anywhere.

Really good works well in the pool

I brought these to take my son who has special needs swimming. He is incontinent and often poos in the pool, I'd heard from a friend about these pants and decided to give them a try. My son is 15 but about the size of a 11/12 year old so I brought the smaller size but the fit was a little on the large side however I'm hoping it will allow room to grow. Perhaps making a pant with the neoprene coming down the thigh a little longer would aid for added protection as the elasticated cuffs were a little loose and worried me about any unwanted emergents.When changing after swimming it was apparent that some pool water had gotten in as his pad was soaking wet, but where the shorts had a tighter fit the pad was dry. Lucky for us there were no signs of any number 2's so I'm not sure how they would've faired had one emerged, but I feel confident that it would've kept everything inside.I paired the Splash about pants with a rash suit which he wore over the pants really helped. I think if I brought some plastic undies to wear underneath the 'Splash About' this would make the perfect combo. All in all a pretty good product and I would defiantly take them with us on all swimming occasions/ water play etc. On the side of dignity the snugness of the pants helped keep any pad bulging tucked in so it didn't look like he was wearing anything extra.
