Killing it!
I used this to make a "patience pole" for horses. I attached it to the top of a (cut down) telephone pole. So far, it works great.

probably good for most uses but not mine
Built a diy camera crane and figured i'd spend a little extra money on a good bearing. This has a little bit of slop in it which translated to the camera. Kind of a bummer, but i don't know if it was intended for this so it is was it is.
