German made so I knew it would be good but it is smashing. Lovely smooth roll and heavy quality metal. Beautifully moulded and a really great door slider. Had some before in my old house...not a patch on this. They were lightweight and had sharp edges where mould was cheap. These are not. When all of the recycled wood is painted white out our walk in pantry will be gorgeous and I’m over the moon! I took photos as I’m so chuffed x thanks!!

Excellent quality well made sliding door kit. I ordered the 1.8m kit, which if anyone is wondering has the rail in two joining lengths. I had to cut each length down by about 6-7cm to fit the space, but this worked fine. I was fitting this to a stud wall so needed to first install a wooden batten, but to keep the door as close to the wall as possible I removed the plasterboard and affixed the batten directly to the stud. Once that was up, the kit installed very easily, clear instructions and good quality hardware. All in all, happy wife happy life!

We had a problem in our bathroom, the sink is in front of the window and it's impossible to put a mirror.We had the idea to put a sliding mirror, that can be moved away in normal time and put in front when needed.The sliding track matched our style and it's super easy to use, mounted in few minutes, just the time to adjust the length, make the measurement for the drill holes, and the track it's done.Fixed the mirror to the hanging parts, job completed.Easy, quick, nice, but mostly we fixed the mirror problem we had. This demonstrates that can be used not only for doors, actually, but we are also planning to use it again in a cabinet!

Easy to fit and a pleasure to install. The parts are well made and it works well. I had to cut this down to fit our wall as the wall face wasn't as wide as the kit expected.My only suggestion is that if you are fitting this to a door with a mould fitted you'll need to measure and make sure everything is marked up properly. I had to counter sink and drill the support pieces into the door moulding, not aproblem but you only want to cut once!

While renovating our old Victorian home which typically on had a downstairs bathroom, we decided to install a shower room upstairs.Largw chimneys through the house prevented us from rearranging the upstairs layout so we decided to pinch a bit of the back bedroom to make a shower room. Tje next issue was how to make a doorway.A conventional doorway would have been space prohibitive, and then i had the brainwave. A sliding door on the landing!Bought this kit not expecting a lot but must say I'm pleasantly surprised. It's really substantially made. Its made of good solid metal for the rail and brackets. The fixings appear good quality and nicely finished, and the instructions are actually good.The only plastic pieces are the bump stops with rubber inserts, and the nylon wheels to run on the rails which is actually a great idea as it makes them run virtually silently on the rails.All in all a great kit, and I can't wait to finish the shower room and hang the door.

Update. Locks are a challenge. In our (garden gate) application, keeping the world out after passing through the gate was achieved as shown in the pics. A robust system that allows locking from either side of the gate hasn't yet presented itself to me. Still I cannot fault the engineering and range of fittings.Well thought out and nicely engineered. Plenty of bolts and fittings for a multitude of installation options. Should last forever. My application is a garden gate and while the steel items may rust a bit, they are thick and the nylon/grp runner wheels will be unaffected. Usual care needed when installing. A laser leveler was indispensable when fitting the overhead rail which comes in metre lengths and requires accurate bolt alignment to run true.

It is a good product, however bear in mind.- The package contains more screws than appear in instructions. It would be ideal if they would just explain which screws are for wood or brick walls.-The rail must be installed right under the frame of the door, it would be ideal if there would be different lengths as we had a metal beam (as many old houses and barns do) right under the door frame.-The instructions only talk about the stoppers to be added in Step 7 when it is too late to add them. They should have indicated stoppers need to be added in step 2.-Some additional measures given in advance would help the buyer know whether they can keep the skirting board or not. In the instructions there’s a skirting board in the picture however you will soon realise this might stop the door sliding properly.-The kit provides a small guide for the lower part of the door, however this guide can only be used with doors with a dent for the rail. It would be more appropriate if the kit included a guide that doesn’t require that kind of dent.
