I did have to get a cheap heat gun to loosen the adhesive to remove the factory installed 60 grit disc from the wheel, then again to soften it enough the putty knife was able to get the bulk of it off, then a couple of squirts of Goo Gone cleaned off the residue. I used an alcohol pad to get it ready for the converter disc. Put it on and reattached the guard and table, then hit the power switch. It's tough to get it perfectly centered but as long as it's close it's all good. Works great!

You can buy sticky back sanding paper pretty much ONLY in round sanding disks. I had a small detail sander that only took sticky back paper and I need to change the sandpaper grit fairly often. That pretty much means throwing away the sandpaper, or going through a big hassle to save it for reuse. I cut the shape needed out of these round disks, stuck them on the pad of my sander and now I can use (and re-use) hook and loop sandpaper and easily change grits without any hassle at all! Well worth the effort and small price!

Great for converting a disc sander from "sticky back" sandpaper to Velcro backed sandpaper. A worthwhile investment
