The protection seems amazing. The reinforced edges even around the corners really seems like the laptop would be well protected in this. If I were just throwing the laptop+sleeve into a bag or taking as is -- this would be perfect. The accessory bag is nice for bare essentials (i.e. the charger, cables, earbuds) i'd need on a plane ride. VS a tech kit that has everything you'd need on the trip - but don't need to have available during the flight. The sleeve also has thick padding on the big surface area sides, along with these dots. it feels sturdy. However this all adds thickness. Having the laptop in this sleeve + my backpack's laptop compartment is too much bulk. it reduces the usability of the room in my bag. I think for a setup like that..a thinner sleeve albeit with less protection is more ideal. Fit is perfect for the Macbook Air 13 M3.
