this item is the stack of trays only, I bought the paint refills separately.What a great idea! I am an art teacher and I love using Prang watercolors. I like to make my own trays up with the paint inserts that I want my students to have. Sometimes we are using only primary colors or certain seasonal mixes. I just choose the inserts, pop them in. Can be used with or without the outer cases.These are the trays that fit into both Prang and Crayola watercolor cases. The trays only. I buy the refills separately and then make up trays for all my tables. I love that these are now available separately. Thank you Prang for hearing my prayers!

My fault-didn’t realize it was an empty grid
Unusable for me. I didn’t realize they were empty grids to hold paint already in a pan. I was expecting empty pans. My fault for not thoroughly checking first
