Frank Cho: Women Vol. 2: Selected Drawings & Illustrations

I have been a fan of Frank Cho for a number of years... I have the prestige format graphic novels for Jungle Girl and some of his Art Books... This is the second Women Selected Drawings and Illustrations that i own... Though this is a Kindle ed. I have the paperback on back order with my supplier... A glorious escape into Frank Cho's beautiful female characters... Stunningly detailed and coloured... A real collectors item... Just gorgeous artwork throughout... 5/5! A++

This Frank Cho book, like other versions or any art from the artist, is a true masterclass! Cho is the standard to set the bar very highly indeed. Soft flowing lines and sensuous curves bring out the best in all his females. Beautiful and solidly professional from the amazing artist I believe, taught himself art. As a guide to art on the female form, treat yourself to this fully illustrated guide from a true master. I sincerely doubt you will be disappointed. Strongly recommended throughout.

As other reviewers have said, this is a very short book with not many pages but really, if you're a fan of Frank Cho's art or you bought the first volume then this second book will already be on your shelf or 'to buy' list regardless. If you're buying on a whim with no prior knowledge of the artist then I can understand being dubious of the small page count but otherwise it's another great book.I only discovered Frank Cho relatively recently through some of his Avengers work and his amazing Ms. Marvel covers. This guy can draw insanely sexy women and this book is another compilation of his enviable (speaking as a wannabe artist) ability. The art is a mix of sketches, inked line work and coloured pieces with a lot of examples demonstrating the evolution from pencil to pen then a coloured/finished state. Some may lament a single idea taking up multiple pages when they are in short supply but I personally found it fascinating to see how certain images came together.As a fan of the first book, this one didn't disappoint. If you enjoyed the first 'Women' or admire Cho's work then I highly recommend this one though I would also say that being an existing fan will help when coming to terms with the small page count.

The quality of Frank Cho is absolutely awesome. New drawing with several steps until painted.Great book and totally recomended.

The best illustration is the cover. I had been waiting for the price to go down before completing my collection. The problem with this (and Women book 1) is that all of the drawings are available in the Liberty Meadows books and online. But otherwise, it's a nice collection of beautiful drawings.

Lindo livro expondo composição sobre artes direcionadas a anatomia de corpo feminino. Desenhos e ilustrações muito bem desenvolvidas bom para usar como referência.

I've already seen or own a lot of the work in this and book one, but it's nice to have them collected to be able to flip through.
