It didn't fit the 7 frame hive the way it's supposed to fit so we turned it the other direction. That seems to have worked. It's sturdy and gives less for ants to climb. It's the perfect hight. In high winds you might wanna strap it though

This might have been a good stand if even a small amount of quality control was in evidence. The tools don't match the hardware, the hole don't like up, and after an hour of fighting this POS I have a wobbly stand that I can't use. Pay attention to the other comments (unlike me) and avoid this at all costs.

I like the stand. I only wish the bottom legs were like a ski. It tends to sink if the ground is wet from the weight of the hive, bee's and honey.

Gee, i bought 4 of these hive stands and very much like them. But the wrench included with all 4 is the wrong size and one screw was missing from the hardware packs. Not a terribly big deal. Were it not for the annoyance factors of the unwelcome need for a trip to the hardware store to buy the missing bolt to match it's nut and a trip to the garage to locate the correct size wrench, this would have been a satisfying and excellent purchase.

The wrench that came with product didn’t fit and 8 screws that held the rail on were wicked tight and you can’t get them tight for fear of cross threading. I would have returned item but I’m a terrible procrastinator and my window closed. Very disappointed in product and customer service stinks.

Easy to assemble, fast shipping, does the job and allows wind flow to the hive bottom

I got this for putting my hive on to prevent the fire ants from getting in my hives after they attacked one of my hives and caused them to swarm away. I am now using Vaseline on the legs of this to prevent, and I also can put little cups of water under each if that doesn’t work, which I couldn’t do with the cinderblocks.Now for the bad part. Putting this together was way more difficult than it should’ve been. It did not come back with the proper tools to assemble, and the holes were not properly aligned. Putting it together was very trying and frustrating. This is why I deducted a star.

The materials are robust and would make for a great stand and in truth once its assembled its not bad but getting there was solidly frustrating.Quality control clearly is non-existent with this. Let's start with the nuts included and the wrench which doesn't fit any of the included nuts. Really! Several places the metal holes were not fully punched out and the adjustment nut for the tightening knob was just horrible soldered to the frame. Several screw holes just not drilled out right making them unusable. Really simple stuff that if proper probably would have changed the experience. As other mentioned a second set of lower braces would have been perfect. My stand in fairness doesn't have the "sway" to the extent other have experienced but I get how it could, especially loaded up with a hive filled with honey. My plan is to use in in a lower profile which tightens it up a bit in a small garden hive vs as a stand for a full on production hive.Sadly some better quality control and a few changes this could have been a great stand. Good for small hive or maintenance set up.Assembly will drive you nuts though...
