Simmons Beautyrest Comforpedic Loft from Beautyrest 4-inch Sculpted Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper Blue/White Queen

I am a side sleeper and I had a 3" thick memory foam topper on my firm mattress. However, after an 80 pound weight loss, I starting having terrible hip pain while sleeping, even with the memory foam topper. Who knew a weight loss changes what kind of mattress padding you need? Anyway, after much research, I decided to switch to this mattress pad and I now have zero hip pain! This pad just cradles me and I sleep better than ever. I can't really confirm if I am sleeping cooler on this one though, as I live in a hot climate and we always seem to have our air on.

I bought this topper around Black Friday because I was sick of waking up after an 8-hour night of sleep still tired, moderately sore, and very cranky. I was a bit worried about getting a foam topper because the mattress is already softer than I like and I absolutely hate being hot when I sleep, but the springs were poking up into my hips like the Devil's pitchfork so I thought it was worth a shot regardless. I searched the Internet high and low for something that would give me the right mixture of support, softness, and cooling for an affordable price and finally settled on this one. Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad! Now for a con, it is the dead of winter and it still gets hot even in my terribly insulated apartment, but aside from that it did significantly change the comfort of my crappy used mattress. Because the heat factor is so important to me I would not choose to buy it again (especially at full price), but I will continue to use it until I can afford to just get a better mattress.

This is a wonderful, comfortable queen size mattress topper. My only complaint is that it is about 2 inches too narrow in width so doesn’t cover the entire top of the bed. Apparently the toppers are cut from a roll and mine must have been the end of the roll, thus the missing inches in width.

When I opened up the pkg I though it was kind hokey laid down on it and I was amazed at how well it cushioned my tired hips and shoulders it was like night and day I didn’t realize how hard my mattress was it also fits my bed perfect

I bought this because even my new mattress was not comfortable for my fibromyalgia and arthritis. This made a big difference! It was easy and opened up immediately. My Great Dane also loves it!

We used this in our Cal-King flotation waterbed on top of the water cylinders, but under the matters covering. Queen was exactly the correct size. So far, it is absolutely perfect.

This pad has totally transformed my very expensive but a bit too stiff mattress to something that I now look forward to laying in.

For 50 years I have used firm mattresses thinking they were best for my joints, but then I began to wake with a low back ache. I put one of these on top of the mattress and the aches are gone. Holding up fine over a year's use.
