Exceeded Expectations - RFID Specifically
TL;DR; For $20 this minimalist wallet has certainly surprised me. It blocks RFID better than the more expensive wallet that I was gifted at Christmas time, and holds everything that wallet did to boot!Pros:* It has a nice minimalistic look to it, bordering on futuristic/military in appearance* The clear plastic display facing allows an ID badge or government ID to be displayed easily* RFID is actually blocked* More than enough room for daily carryCons:* Very stiff elastic out of the box* The clip confuses me, but I am in the front pocket carry crowdI have looked at a lot of these wallets in the past and scoffed at them. I never really felt that the "minimalist" design would work for me. Then I looked at my current wallet and realized that the only difference was that my wallet had a zipper on it. So, I when this wallet came to me I decided to give it a full work out. The first test was the so called RFID Blocking ability that seems to be the buzz of the century when it comes to wallets. This wallet was a surprising result. Putting my work badge inside of the card holder, not the plastic frame that displays your ID, I fully expected to walk up to our doors and have the badge work. I fully expected this wallet to fail the RFID test. Swipe 1... Swipe 2... Swipe 3.... Take the badge out swipe, I'm through the doors! This wallet worked to block my badge where my more expensive wallet, the one with the zipper that is supposed to do the same thing, allows me to keep my badge inside of it and still be able to access any door on our campus. Big win in my book!On to the cards and ease of use. I can understand what another reviewer stated about the holder being difficult to use. Mine isn't, and I think that is because when I first opened the package and pulled out the wallet I realized that it was really stiff to use. Like a baseball player with a brand new mit, the first thing I did was pry apart the two sides and stretch the elastic a bit. At the maximum spread, the wallet allows a generous opening of 35 mm, or 1.38 inches. This is more space than the number of cards and cash I typically have on me. To get a card out, there are thumb slots on one side of the wallet that allows you to push up one corner of the stack and then easily be able to pick the card that you are looking for. Is it possibly finicky and annoying? You bet! But for something brand new out of the box, give the sides a good stretch to get the elastic set into an easier place for use. Also keep in mind that the first thing that is going to wear and stretch is going to be that elastic.

Very solid, compact slim wallet
This compact wallet is very cool looking and minimal. It’s minimal in a good way though if you are looking for something without a lot of bulk and thats easy to use. It’s definitely much thinner than a folding wallet. One thing that stood out to me is the clear ID slot on the front. that was something my old wallet didn’t have. It is not quite as slim as some other card wallets out there. My old one is actually the same thickness fully loaded with all my cards than this one is when empty. The belt clip is good but doesn’t work well for bills or if you want to keep a card in the clip for quicker access. Cards or bills just don’t seem to fit well in the clip, it really seems designed as a belt clip not a money clip. And if you try to use it as a money clip when you unclip it from your belt, your dollar bills fall out. This wallet does not have a place for paper cards or other non-solid items it really only works for thicker plastic cards. You can sorta put a paper item between 2 cards and then put that in the wallet but it’s not as convenient as it could be. This could be a good alternate wallet when you don’t need to carry much or for travel. The clear ID window on the front is especially useful if you need to show it often.I have included a picture of my other slim wallet for comparisonThis is a pretty decent slim wallet for the price. It looks awesome, I love the style. If you need to carry more than several credit cards and an ID it may not be the best option since it doesn’t handle paper items or bills well.

Compact & Solid High Tech Wallet
I was ready for a new wallet-experience when I discovered this LAUAILAM Minimalist Wallet For Men Money Clip. With the ability to carry up to 15 credit cards as well as several dollar bills in the integrated money clip, this Tactical Wallet accomplishes all of this with a Carbon Fiber and Aluminum high-tech build. The credit cards are very securely held in-place via an elastic band that maintains a decent amount of compression to the contents of this wallet. I found the wallet takes a bit more effort/dexterity to open and retrieve cards (compared to a conventional leather billfold), but also appreciate that the added effort just underscores the added security that this wallet affords. It also features RFID Blocking for peace-of-mind when traveling. There is also a built-in lanyard attach loop, as well as a transparent solid plastic sleeve on the outside so that you can carry a Drivers license card sized ID for quick visibility. With dimensions of roughly 3.75 inches by 2.36 inches, and 0.42 inch thick, this compact wallet, machined with chamfers out of a black anodized aluminum, exudes a high-tech, edgy vibe that is sure to impress!
