Perfect!
Love...Love...Love!!!! Lots of words. Plenty to learn the parts of speech. Super fun for a three year old who is obsessed with language and has a long attention span. Also, perfect for his two year old sister who is obsessed with her "two year old wants/needs" and has zero attention span. She tries, because it is the only way she can get her big brothers attention, and she has learned most of her letters. Oh, and in great shape, good size for their little fingers, but not to big to wipe out the fridge with one sentence. They arrived way before promised day. Also, very good magnetic force.

quality, well made set!
I was a little worried about cuts in the middle of the words like previous reviewers had noted, but every single one of mine was perfect. The variety of nouns and repetition of common articles is perfect for putting together sentences and poetry. We have a different set on the fridge that my kids love turning into funny and ridiculous sentences, but we're always running out of articles and conjunctions, so I bought this set to fill in the gaps. Well made, great size, exactly what I was looking for! One note-- if you're buying these to use as magnets to hold papers up, I don't think they're meant for that. The magnets aren't strong enough to hold more than a sheet of paper.

Stick on a little too well
Very useful for teaching kids but a pain to get off the board if you dont have nails. They also arent very easy to slide around on the board if you want to move them.

it was very easy to write it up on the board along with ...
There are 3 magnetic sheets of basic sight words and so far my 5 year old is having a blast forming sentences for the first time. She's just moving out of Pre K and our local school advised us for Kindergarten she will need to know a list of sight words. We also purchased a magnetic whiteboard along with this and they match perfectly. For words that werent included, it was very easy to write it up on the board along with the strips to form even more sentences. Best of all the 3 year old got into it as well.Otherwise the magnet on the back doesnt feel weak, and taking each word off the perforations wasnt painful at all.Kindergarten here we come!

Great Educational tool
Great educational tool for my Kindergarten/1st grader. She likes to make a sentence every morning. They stay up well on the frig. I’ve noticed one cut in the wrong place separating the word “play”. Other than that, the quality seems good. Words included also seem good for kindergarten/1st grade.

The letters are cut correctly and are a good size for little fingers (and older eyes)
The letters are cut correctly and are a good size for little fingers (and older eyes). The only problem is that the selection of nouns is limited. And it is hard to make the verb tenses match because most of the nouns are singular (mother, father, baby, dog, etc) but the verb forms are plural (eat, do, run, etc). Note that this is not the fault of the manufacturer - that is how "sight word" lists are constructed. Here is a tip to make the set work perfectly. First, take the sheet of white cardboard that came in the packaging and carefully cut it into strips the same height as the letters. These can be cut up to make additional words. To make the new words magnetic, cut up the thin edging around the sheets of letters and glue the strips to the back of the cardboard strips with a glue stick. For the verb problem, use small pieces of the magnetic edging to make "s" tiles. I bought these for use with a 2nd grader I tutor. He loved them. The first new word we made was his name.

Great Product!
Whatever cutting issues previous reviewers experienced have been largely solved. I had one that was mis-cut, but that's ok for us. I bought it for my son going into 2nd grade. The words are all easily recognizable to him, but he balks at creative writing and I thought this might help. He loves to put sentences together with this on our fridge! I am planning to buy some more magnetic words such as magnetic poetry for him as well. I'd have given this all 5 stars if the magnets were a little bit stronger. They're okay, but not perfect.

Good visual for Kids to see all the time. Much better than flash cards but flash cards still good for car.
Along with a large dry erase board this engaged my daughter. She saw the words everyday and would get excited to come get me and tell me which words she remembered to move them from one side of the board to the other. We did that back and forth a few times for all the words. It helped to have a visual to see what is learned and to constantly have the words right there for her to see all the time in the house.

Great reading assistant.
They are small and there are a lot of them. We encourage my son to create a sentence on the fridge every morning and then he has to read it. It works....sometimes. They really do help though with encouraging my son to read. They seem to be good quality and pretty strong magnets. They are perforated and come apart pretty easily.

Nice size, good quality, but the pieces are incomplete
Over 240 pieces, including 6 or so apostrophes, but no single "s" or "t" pieces. No way to pluralize words, and only a handful of nouns. Includes the words "it" and "its" but again, no "s" to make "it's".No "ing", "ed", or "er". For that matter, there are only a handful of adjectives at all. Large, big, small, little, first, good, amd great. That's it. My kid in grade 1 isn't going to be able to make hardly any sentences at all. I wish there were an expansion pack, because I would totally buy that one as well.
