Q: Are the chorme parts made from metal?

No but it looks great and the suction is very strong. Buy it without hesitation it's really good for a super price.

Q: Does the bracket turn completely around or only slightly?

When un-tightened, the bracket rotates 360 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise, however, that is not helpful at all. Ho wants to hang showerhead upside-down? However, the showerhead holder moves only 20 degrees to 3:00 - 9:00 o'clock and 12:00 - 6:00 o'clock directions. Another problem with this product: I had to remove a self-sticking rubbery insert from the old one to this one to stabilize the showerhead. If you have a high water pressure, it will not hold it.

Q: Can this move up and down position?

I'm not sure what you mean by "up and down". It sticks to the wall with suction so it can be positioned at any hight as long as the surface is smooth. It does tilt up and down some to direct the spray straighter down or more towards the back of the tub.

Q: handle does not fit is there a bigger one?

I believe it is one size fits all.
