I paired it with my 5G following the instructions. You have to plug it into power close to your router then using the wireless on one of your computers you have to connect to the extender first using the admin password provided. Once you are in the admin screen for the extender you can tell the device to connect to your router's wireless with your router's password. After that you just unplug the extender and move it to wherever you need it in the house. I moved mine next to my TV and then did a wired connection from the TV to the extender as my TV kept dropping wireless all the time. Seems to work great so far, the kids streamed a bunch of netflix shows for several hours with it connected and had no streaming issues.

I chose this product based on the overall product review with numerous reviews. Yes, when it worked, it worked great - for about 24 hours. After that, nothing. I tried to reset it and nothing. It will not pull the wifi signal from my main router. When I reset the MSRM unit, it was extremely hot to the touch. I pulled it from the wall, let it cool for a few hours and tried again to get it all up and running, but no, nothing. It transmits a wireless signal, but with no connection to the router it is supposed to be extending the range of. Money wasted on junk. Trying other products, don't waste your hard earned cash on this.

I purchased this to extend the wifi in our home. The router is located in the basement office and I wanted signal upstairs in bedrooms and living room. It does a good job of extending the range. I was hoping it would reach a little farther than it does, but with a little experimentation and moving it around to a few different locations, we finally found a good location. Definitely speeds up our internet. Good purchase.

Although it was easy to connect to the extender, the extender is not connecting to the internet. I did all the troubleshooting the simple instructions suggested and none worked. I want a refund!!

I purchased this item in Feb, here it is 3 months later and the product doesn't work anymore. It runs very hot now and cant get it to work. It was great for the few months it did work, but what a waste of money to only get 3 months of life out of it.

The MSRM does not work for even step one. When I locate MSRM US750 and click "connect", it then displays "Internet, closed." I have done this half a dozen times, without success. I have owned the device for four months but have not tried to install it until now. The return of course has expired.

DO NOT BUY THIS!! This item does not work. The 100% 5-star reviews are fake. The device will setup and connect to your existing wifi, but that is it. You cannot connect to the extender after. This item is a garbage overseas product. It is a SCAM!
