The roller arrived with one of the handles split and falling off so it didn't give me great vibes about longevity. With the handle off, it was very apparent that the metal bar which holds the rollers was covered with surface rust. So it's been stored somewhere humid with all that that entails.No other defects and the rollers and scraper were free of splinters and finished nicely.I make no claims as to the efficacy of its purported effects on subcutaneous fat but it feels nice to work on my knotty shoulders.

These wood massage tools work great! I found that the roller worked exceptionally well when used on my thighs. If you use the roller with a bit of pressure, it massages your thigh and gives you the relief you need in terms of improving sore areas/ areas that ache or pain. It is very effective and produces better results compared to when you massage your body with your hands or fingers! I personally have not used the gua sha that much but I did find it quite big in size so I can use it on my thighs and leg too.
