A better repair tool? As incredible as it seems, this is an entirely new approach to green repair. It is a simple push/pull action that makes ball mark repairs easier, quicker and better. With the Spider Divot Tool, you simply remove the protective cap, insert the metal legs into the ball mark and pull upward with a twist. The patented technology of the spider easily pulls the damaged area flush with the putting surface. Tamp it and you're done. Better for the golfer and better for the golf course.

Best tool for fixing divots. Period.
I play a lot of golf. I fix a lot of divots. I always fix mine plus at least two more and any on my line. I know how to fix divots correctly. There is no twist and there is no lift. The best tool this far is basically a tee. You ram it in multiple times around the divot until it is gone. I've tried a few others, but nothing beats a tee. That is, until I tried the Spider. This thing is awesome. It makes divots disappear in about 4 pushes and pulls. Just gone. A friend of mine I play a lot off of with saw me using mine today. I let him try it out on the first 3 holes. He ordered one off of amazon on the 7th tee. It's that good.It comes with a small ball mark and the ergonomic design will also hold your club when it's wet out.The only negative is that it is $5 more if you want a colored one compared to black. That's an extreme markup.Father's Day is coming up. For the golfing dad in your life, he'll be shocked how great this is after he uses it for one round.

Best Device By Far - Reduces Turf Healing Time.
Best Ball Repair device I've found. I bought a couple more for friends. I've tried 5 different ball repair devices. This one is so clearly the best there is no comparison -- this of course assumes the user knows how to properly repair the ball mark. Too many ball repair devices are designed to pull up on the middle of the ball mark which tears the roots and most often kills the grass in the center of the mark. This device, when used properly, is designed to "push" the surrounding turf back to its original position which fills in the mark. When done properly, this method does NOT tear roots or kill the grass, consequently the healing time of the Green is greatly reduced. P.S. the ball marker is a great bonus.

This is seriously the best divot repair tool I have used
This is seriously the best divot repair tool I have used. I made some crazy big craters over the weekend and after using this I repaired each one of them to look like the divot was never there. Before, I was using a standard 2 prong repair tool and I would always leave a small dent or tear up the grass a bit, not after using this tool! I even find myself repairing other divots while I am waiting on my group just because. I can't imagine going back to a 2 prong tool ever again now that this is in my bag!

Best golf divot repair tool and ball marker on the market! Worth the extra money!
I liked everything about this product. Best divot repair tool and ball marker on the market. Much better with round cap cover instead of the flip switch type that open in your pocket then pokes holes in your pants pocket. Ball marker is secured with a very strong magnet, and the marker is half the size so it does not distraught your fellow players. AAAAA PLUS!

Best Divot Tool Ever
I've used a tee to repair ball marks on greens for years. After trying the Insta Spider Divot Tool I would never go back to using a tee. It's much faster, easier and less damaging to roots. As an experiment, I repaired two side by side divots on the same green near the front edge, one with a tee and the other with the Insta Spider. Three days later you could still see the divot repaired with the tee but not the one repaired with the Insta Spider. I wish everyone used them, but then again I wish everyone would repair their ball marks too!

Not on deep pitch amrks
It doesn't work on deep pitch marks. I play in Michigan and one needs to be able to pinch the pitch mark together, not just pull straight up around the edge of the pitch mark, otherwise it leaves a depression in the center. I had three golfers try them (I bought three, two versions) all had the same result, it works on shallow dents, but not at all on a ball size pitch mark.

morks mostly
This divot repair tool works mostly but if you get on any ground that is really hard, it won't work. Even if it has grass there it just doesn't work that well. I also can't stand the sound it makes when I insert the divot tool back into its holder. Just like scratching a chalkboard to me.

Great!
I love this tool. I just press it straight down a few times. I don't twist it and don't pry upward. Straight down 2 or 3 times then tap with my putter.
