Good space heater
My normal heat is a wall mounted Mitsubishi AC/heat pump, but that takes time to reach a temp before anything happens. In the meantime I’m freezing. I got this to fill in providing heat until the main heat’s starts. This works so great in my small living I sometimes don’t even turn on the big heater. Heats as soon as you turn it on. I love the remote control, lets me control it from my couch. I have pushed the lock button by accident which won’t let you control it via the remote until it’s unlocked. I keep this about 10ft behind where I sit and warms me nicely from that distance.I have noticed an increase in fan noise, but not that annoying. It’s easy to lift and move, shuts off if tipped, and no glowing elements which make me nervous. The big LED readout is easy to see from across the room. It also has a rotating base, which I don’t have a need so it’s turned off.

Five Stars for the VCK Space Heater!
I needed a small heater for my garage and after searching through a seemingly endless number of heaters I ended up purchasing this VCK 1500W Space Heater. This heater is small, but has impressive heating capabilities. It efficiently reaches the desired temperature within just a few minutes. Whether it's placed by my feet on the floor or on my workbench heat is delivered with speed and precision. The 200 sq.ft heating coverage is perfect for the space I'm using it in.I appreciate the fact that this is ETL rated and has safety features built in. The tip-over protection works well and as soon as it's knocked over (or even just a vigorous bump) it turns the heating element off immediately and starts counting down 15 seconds until it powers off.It has three power modes - low, high, and ECO. The ECO mode is what I have been leaving it on so far and it automatically adjusts from low to high depending on how far away it is from your set temp. I tested it and it pulls between 800 and 1500 watts depending on the mode. The only thing I didn't care for was that it makes a very loud beep any time a button is pressed. It sounds like the first beep of a fire alarm. The designers thought about that because the heater comes with a remote that thankfully has the option to turn the beeping sound off. The remote works well from across the room, but does require line-of-sight as far as I can tell.I highly recommend this VCK heater to anyone in search of a lightweight, portable, and efficient small heater.

Tiny and powerful
Holy moly! This little things gets nice and toasty extremely quick! I like that the heater is small and compact. It takes up very little space and easy to move around In my small area that I needed it for.All the operation functions are touched base and it has a handy little remote. The timer option makes is helpful for what I needed this for. I don’t have to remember to turn it off and the tip protection is a must have because of my 2 puppers.I needed a a small alternative space heater for my craft nook. I make custom tumblers as a hobby and need to be able to heat up a small space quickly to ensure the epoxy cures properly. I set it up immediately so I can work on a cup and had it set to 80°. It warmed up within seconds! I didn’t even need to preheat the space which is a huge game changer for me. I set the timer for 4hours and walked away. Checked back after the timer and it was off.Great little item!

Warm toes
The size is great. good for the price range. it puts out heat, the directions for set-up were not clear or it just did not want to talk to the remote at times. It you want fancy features this is not it. if you are cold and want to warm the area in less than 10 minutes this is the on. The shut off timer works.

Works like it is advertised
I was surprised at how small it is, but I am actually happy about that. I was also surprised that it sends out heat into the expanse of my room. I had expected that it would blow out warm (or hot) air in the immediate vicinity of where it was sitting, but as it stayed on, I was surprised that the ambient room temperature also warmed up. We're talking about an approx 10' x 12' room and it managed to increase the warmth in the room over a 30 minute period nicely. Very happy with the purchase.

doesn’t auto turn off all the time
UPDATE: excellent customer service! i did not expect customer service to reach out on a 3 star review. they offered a full refund due to the product not sufficiently turning off automatically. like i said before… it is a great little heater and puts out heat very quickly. just won’t turn off automatically when it reaches the temperature set on.original: it’s a nice lil heater but doesn’t always turn off when it reaches the temperature set on. i will turn it on and leave it be and next thing you know it’s 80 something degrees in the room when it is set in 70

Gift for a family member
Family member needed to keep warm & this lil fella absolutely did the trick. He couldn't wait to show n tell me how it practically saved his life. Ok , he exaggerates a lil. But still I'm glad he's enjoying 😉

It's generally good to ask: is it too good to be true>? - if you buy, CHECK the tip-over function!
This is re: the 11 inch model. The reviews were so good in early October, that we chose this. First heater seemed fine until we checked the tip over function: it didn't work on MULTIPLE tries in any direction. No way would we keep a heater that didn't have this promised function. I wondered if a safety chip wasn't added; then even the overheat function would then be missing. Replacement came: tip over function worked, but the temperature control function was totally awry: When set at 71 degrees, it didn't stop running even when at 79-80 degrees. What use is a thermostat with that degree of inaccuracy? Also, the ECO function wouldn't even let us set a temperature at all. Other major con: the grid in front (through which the heat flows out) gets hot. We returned both. We were so looking forward to this: yes, it pumps out a lot of heat, but for a small room I need the thermostat to work within at least a couple of degrees and I certainly need the safety functions. If you do decide to buy, in my opinion: try the tip-over function before you put it into use.
